Rocky Mountain Inventory Reviews

Brian, the owner of Rocky Mountain Inventory, is rude, condescending, and a threatening bully.

I was sitting close enough to overhear a phone conversation between a Rocky Mountain Inventory customer and the owner of Rocky Moutain Inventory, Brian. The customer was frustrated because Brian's counters were late to the store and the inventory would be starting later than the agreed upon start time. The conversation started off pretty normal until Brian was not apologetic at all and then started saying 'I think I just want to pull the plug on this whole thing'. I've worked in retail for a long time and have observed/worked about 30 inventories. To have the owner of the inventory counting service, threaten a customer with 'pulling the plug' within minutes of the inventory commencing is ridiculous!

Brian is the owner of a service providing organization and showed the customer extreme disrespect. His customer service skills are appalling and I was shocked to hear him say 'I've been in this business for 20 years'. Listen, if you or someone in your organization screws up, you apologize and try to figure out a way to fix the situation. What you don't do is blame the customer, then threaten to walk away, then try to turn the situation around and say that you're being treated with disrespect, and then ask the customer to send an email stating that you promise to pay in full because 'it sounds like you're going to only partially pay me weeks down the road'. The customer didnt say ONE SINGLE WORD about withholding pay. Instead, Brian knew that his actions, coupled with the actions of his team (showed up late, didn't show up with proper tags, etc), would give the customer grounds to not pay and he was scared because he knew he in the wrong. If you're looking for a company to provide you with inventory counting services, do yourself a favor and stay away from Brian's company. I wasn't the one who was disrespected but my stomach is still in knots from listening to how Brian does business.

We are really sorry you feel this way. It is unfortunate that you claim to have not been on the call, but still choose to review us having not be involved on both sides and only present what you heard or think you heard, on one side. It takes a lot for us to recommend cancelling an audit on site. Perhaps we felt we were being highly disrespected and felt it was no longer a good fit. We can't walk into an inventory, and then be told we have to be done in an unrealistic time frame. A time we have never finished by in the past. And there were too many other things that started wrong on your end to list here. You will also notice our of respect, we will not list names on this review. We apologize that you thought 5pm for start time, and we wrote down 6pm. Our people showed up when we told them to and at the time we received your call, we could not get people there any sooner. They were all en route. We hope that you would only have an open mind to the fact that we care about all our customers very much. But we still wish to be treated with respect and understand that cooler heads always prevail. Thanks for your opinion. We will take this and find ways to improve on our end.
