I went to seek financial assistance from the RAM house after being refured buy several church in the area saying that the RAM house does their screening process and their money goes through RAM house. I have not ask for any financial assistance in many years. I was seeking help to move I only needed a small amount. I am a working women that is trying to rebuild my life and have my children a bigger home to live in. I went to RAM house on my lunch break which their staff and signs say you can apply between the 8:30 - 11-30 and 1:30 - 3:00 monday - thurdays. I arrived at RAM house at 1:05 waited in line for doors to be open at 1:30 only had 2 other ppl in front of me. The doors was not open untill 1:43 while i had step to the other side of building to see if there was any staff available to open door on time when i came back the door was open and other ppl had gotten in front of me and took my spot the staff did nothing about this after wasting my entire lunch break plus some extra time I left because the staff was first not availble or on time and rude about helping me get my spot back. I cant believe that our area gives money to a place that is so poorly ran by staff! the one time I ask for help I get treated like this and it is so very discouraging. :(
