I brought my vehicle into Robert so he could diagnose and determine the scope of work needed to repair my car. I had a previous mechanic look at it so I had a general idea of what was needed to repair vehicle. He then kept my car 2 weeks and never sent me a clear and concise estimate and scope of work and how much it would be.
He never got my approval and he took everything apart said he had car on the rack and he is now noticing all these other issues. So naturally I said well how much do you think it will cost? He then continued to avoid the question timeand time again.
I inquired within from some local friends and to mysurprise I learned that this is what this mechanic does.. "he keeps peoples cars for 2 weeks" and doesnt fix the car and still charges Labor without ever getting the "ok" to do the work... He taped hoses in the car and billed me charging me for new hoses.
This guy is a complete ripoff and needs to be investigated for absconding with peoples money without repairing vehicles.
