Several years ago, I found myself in dire straits--emotionally and financially. In desperation, I signed up for a readilty available loan from a company whose interest rates were outrageously--even immorally--high--so high, in fact, that I could consider this company nothing short of a loan shark organization. Still, it was readily available and I was desperate, so I signed up. It was obvious to me that the tactics this company used were designed to stretch out the loan to its full due date. But I had other plans. The company even tried to mislead people who even thought about trying to get from under the burden prematurely by making misleading statements suggesting that the longer a person had the loan, the more benefits (s)he would receive. I didn't fall for that, and, as I promised myself, I paid the loan off within the next year and vowed never to deal with these deceitful people again. But, alas, I was wrong this time.

It's been almost 3 years since I paid the account off-- in full. After I continued receiving mail at my home address, I didn't think much about it then. However, after a year had passed and I was still receiving these mailings regularly--i.e., every few weeks, I called and asked the company to remove my name from its mailing list, for I had no intention of ever dealing with that company again. The person with whom I spoke told me that, if the mail was already set to go out, I might receive 1 more, but that, after that I would receive no further mail. As with everything else about this company, that proved to be a lie as well.

When I received a letter at the end of January 2017, I believed as she had promised, that that would be my last. Was I wrong. Instead of sending me a reminder letter every 3-4 weeks, I began receiving the reminder letter every 5-6 weeks. At this point I became angry, for I realized that this was a slave master who had no intent of letting a slave go free. That extended time lasted until July. Then,I again received a letter each month for August and September. And, to add insult to injury, I just received two letters over the past two weeks.

I have already filed a complaint with the attorney general's office in Fort Worth. Realizing that my requests have mainly been oral, I also filed a complaint with the company, using the company's form. Since the company is using the United State Postal Service to harass me, I am filing a complaint with the USPS tomorrow.

This company and I have no further business. My bill was paid in full; our relationship is over. And, although it's sometimes difficult to let go, it needs to understand that "No" means "No," not sometimes, not occasionally, not even rarely. I am just not that into it--and actually never was. It was a rebound relationship in which it had the upper hand. In fact, I resent this company so much, I don''t won't to hear--or see--the word, "arise." I've even stopped using it in sentences.

I have decided that it probably will not stop. Therefore, every time I receive another mailing, I will file a written complaint with a different regulatory organization. Thus far, it's been the Fort Worth attorney general, company itself, and, on tomorrow, the United States Post Office. I will also consult with my lawyer to see what legal options i have since this harassment is affect my physical and emotional well-being.

For anyone considering dealing with this companies--and companies like it--be forewarned. You will be selling your soul to the devil incarnate. And he'll try to own you for the rest of your life!

Rise credit is Robbing me and who ever alse gets a loan. First off they dont explain that you will be making two payments a month Second off that its a $15 dollar charge daily on the loan you get. I got a $2,600 dollar loan. I wanted to check the status because i fiqured the loan was almost paid for. In 3 months i payed $2091.16 I spoke with a rep and she said my balance was 2691.15. I said how is that possible. Then i said so whith the months agreed to make payment how much would that be. She said a jaw dropping number of a little over $10,000 . I said that is BS you guys are robbing me. No one in HELL would agree to that. This is complete manipulation lack of detail and just humanly wrong. No one in the world should be able to pull off a stunt like this and get away with it.
