I was approached outside the store stating my hands looked dry. The manager took my hand and advised let me put some cream in them. I was very ill and in not supposed to be downtown but needed to pick up something for my illness to help me. I told the young lady I had a migraine and no thank you. She said “come” and sit down. My hands weren’t dealt with but my face was removed of the little bit of powder and blush and a cream that required a fan was put on. Several minutes passed and she advised.. look how much better? I was thinking the treatments they sell everywhere for temporary fixes to freeze your face sell for $40.00. This was $2,000.00. Then the machines came out with rhinestones for $10,000 and $5,000 without crystals. I’m serious Another machine that was warmer with caviar beads was brought out for $10,000 but for you I will sell it for $6,800.

During the time i was saying I was sick and vomited twice in their bathroom. I came out ringing the products from pulling my credit cards out of my wallet. I have NO RECEIPTS. I HAVE NO PAPERS ON WHAT I BOUGHT. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TOLD THEY WERE NON REFUNABLE. I BEGGED THE MANAGER THE NEXT DAY TO PLEASE ALLOW ME TO RETURN $16,750 WORTH OF PRODUCTS. No She said but how about a facial. I reported to the city , who wanted me to go to court about being touched outside. i want my money back. I went to the paper ... they said write here and call the police about no receipts and rifling through my wallet. I’m calling the FBI that is looking into the sales practices of flying in young adults to sell with an intense script. I was told what salery she made and pays no income tax. How can that be with our borders getting tighter. No matter your visa... you work ... you pay taxes. I paid taxes on the products did anyone see that Money.

‘’I’ve been in Charleston for 25 years. Ive managed and worked in elite store generating huge profits for the store because of the fine products I was lucky enough to sell. There was always, even with jewelry that hadn’t been sized to return with 5 business days.

Ive never spent this amount ever in one purchase. I could have bought a car. Even diamonds for $16,750 would have brought me joy over this nonsense. Products that sit in bags because it’s a joke. My weakness in my health allowed me to sit, smile , walk unsteady and vomit. Two days later on Monday I was seen by my doctor and had an X-ray and was walking around with a concussion in addition from side effects from my new medicine that were horrific. I wasn’t in my right mind. I couldn’t walk with my illness ... they had caught a wealthy spider in their nest. I lost my emergency savings .. gone. If anyone needs me or god forbid passes away... I have no cash. It’s as if they knew I had $20,000 in my account . Now worth nothing but a shell game... snake oil..and one very stupid women that never was advised about their No Refund Policy or every receiving One Teceipt. Not one.

‘Please please I beg anyone ... this is a serious con. Stay far far away. If you need product... I’m selling my stuff ... penny’s on the dollar.

The next day after I bought the products I decided to return them, When I arrive to return the products at the store where I purchased them, the staff told me the person who can refund me it’s only the sales person who sold me the products, staff told me they don’t have system, they gave me 1000 excuses, they even told me I have to refund via telephone they never refund in store and the customer service phone number never answer the calls I had to wait hours for Rachel the manager, when she arrived she told me : - They don’t refund because the products were on clearance and the funny thing it’s that the shop didn’t have any sign or announcement of sales or clearance and I told her to check the Camaras to prove that day they didn’t have any promotion sale advertising. -

She told me she can’t refund because she didn’t know how I kept the products stored and for that reason she can’t sale it after.

she also told me that one product that she opened in the store she can’t receive it even if SHE OPENED in front of my family and they have Camaras... because she opened for us before I confirm I will purchase them, even if I want it or pay it - she couldn’t keep lying, and I remind her she told us she gave us employees price it wasn’t a promotion or sale They have a plan to steal, its the worst store, service, staff and products ever, I want to advise all the people and customers in the USA to avoid this shop these thieves are assaulting igneous people, malls should not accept them.

High pressure sales tactics ripped me off for almost $1000.00

Be careful walking through the Southpoint mall in Durham NC. If someone from Resveralife jumps out from a kiosk and grabs you for a free sample of some kind of lotion or hair product you better run. If you don’t they will pressure you into buying hair and skin products for extremely high prices and it looks like a miracle product when they put it on you, but a few days later you might brake out with an allergic reaction like i did. Then they will offer you a free facial to get you down to their store which is also in the mall and meet with a skin specialist that will try to sell you $1300.00 red or blue light sapphire device which again looks like it works wonders on your skin initially. Then a few days later now my skin is itching and has bumps all over it and looks way worse than before i used the products. Forget about returning anything these people are very well trained and have a million excuses why you can’t return it. I am so frustrated and embarrassed to fall for such a scam i can’t believe the mall lets this con of a business operate. I will never step foot back in the South Point mall again. These people are scary.... Mofia scary...

Very aggressive sales aiming for vulnerable people

I'm sure the products are doing whatever any beauty product out there does. Not sure if I or anybody in my family needed any of it from this particular store for the prices they sell them.

I'm embarrassed to say I am a very gullible person and easy to persuade to go leap into something without thinking about the long term consequences.

I'm regret my purchase and I regret being caught off guard walking through the mall where I was jumped by one of their overly aggressive sales reps, offering me a free sample.

I should have taken the free sample and ran.

I'm sure it's a legit company, but they sure know how to manipulate and "scam" ill prepared people out of their money.

I bet the store location at the mall I went to will not be there for long, like most scammy, hit and run operations.

No paperwork, no customer service, hard to return your products and over priced, useless products I can buy anywhere else, if I wanted to.

I will not even give these products as a gift to anyone, because it's too embarrassing to admit I bought something from them.

Lesson learned, moving on. Guards up walking through this mall next time. Dodging aggressive sales reps.

I know what you mean!

I was walking pass the store here in Fort Worth, TX and one of their sales rep actually gestured and told me i have bad puffy eyebags and he could help me with moisturizing them or something. I really felt insulted and harassed so I made a complaint not at their store but at Mall Management. A couple days later I received a call from the "owner" and he apologized to me directly. I thought it was sincere and he even offered me a bag of products. I just told him the apology was enough and that I will call back the Mall and let them know. But their Guerrilla marketing strategy is definitely something that needs to be addressed.

Extremely aggressive sales of illegitimate, potentially dangerous cosmetic products. I purchased $4,556.20 worth of products that are not healthy for me to use. The store ignored my disease and sold me a facial light product. Used these products on my skin because I was made to believe this was a legitimate facial. Facial done in back room with no sink or face mask on employee.

My credit card was taken in this same back room where I was never told my purchase was non-refundable. Selling product warranties. No refund is shown on my receipt but noticed too late. Credit card I am now positive was swiped twice on purpose for me to sign two merchant copies. All product websites are faulty. All employees lie about corporate office or management because there is none.

Full story below:

I just moved down from New York and decided to take a stroll downtown. I was lured in by a clever sales girl named Maya, who offered me free soap samples to get me in the door, Her fellow salesman was very forward with compliments of my appearance. She told me to come in because she needed to wrap the soap in Saran Wrap so it wouldn’t melt. Then asking me to try an eye cream and skin peel. She asked me a few questions, I was not willing to make the purchase and was ready to leave, so she lowered the prices and then took me behind her computer counter to show me the true price of the products and how low she was giving them to me for.

She then offered me a free cellulite cream and a free facial voucher. I was told in order to have a facial because they have no facial pamphlets, I needed to purchase products for a free facial voucher with one of their top estheticians. She put it all in a bag for me and held out her hand, I felt as if I had to buy it. We made an appointment that upcoming week for my facial. Funny how depressed I’ve been due to Covid that it felt I was doing something right for myself and self care. Boy was I in for a suprise. I left to only be texted that I could come in later that day to have my facial done by one of their best. I came back for my appointment.

Was taken to a back room to wait for my facial, A new sales girl told me I was about to be seen by one of the best in the USA with skin care and offered me wine, vodka, or gin. I refused the beverage. The girl named Sahar came in to do my facial, not wearing a face mask and asked me to remove mine. There was no sink inside the room so she used cotton balls to remove mask products, I assumed everything was as should. She used products on my face, one of which apparently has caviar in it, a blue light and red light facial wand. I asked her with autoimmune disease is it safe for the skin and eyes, should I be wearing googles. She told me no, its very safe and continued her process. (She denies this conversation but to what occurred too late to me was even if it was miscommunicated, shouldn't this be a question to ask in the first place or medical background paperwork before a facial?)

Sahar then told me I could purchase this Red LED facial light machine. I wasn’t ready to spend that kind of money and asked about single session facials. She told me very firmly that her time is very expensive and does not do single purchase facial sessions to keep her facials and advise more one on one with her clients. Offering me that if I purchased the Perfectio X LED medical grade product myself, I could do my own treatments and check in with her every three months and she would send me free Introstem/Noella/Celestolite products and took my address and had me sign off on free shipping. I’d be one of "her trial women and have her be my advisor on my skin to have perfect skin like a commercial."

She dumped over 7 products on my lap and I said ok to the mid grade price machine. Lowest LED product $1000, mid $2600. Third $5000. She then charged my card in the back room and told me wait, "Let me check our point system to get you an even better deal." She (like Maya) also took me to look at their computer to show me the most expensive product and that their company made over $43,000 today in sales and that Saturdays are great days so She could take those earned sales points and offer me the top grade machine for even less. And since its a medical grade machine I would get my tax back.

I must have lost my mind by now having been there for over an 1hr 15mins for a facial appointment, I said ok. She then took me into the back room once again to charge my card again. I was very confused but she told me ill give you a single itemized receipt. Then Telling me she gave me the lifetime warranty price and that is what makes the price more expensive and If i ever have issues or am unhappy she is my advisor and will fix it immediately. She even had me do the warranty on her computer with her as if it was apart of something special and legitimate.

I left feeling alright amount my decision until I heard her say “done” to her co-worker. By the time I reached my boyfriends car, it started to hit me that I spent money I didnt even have because they caught me in the right emotional state and the sale was so aggressive I could not say no. I honestly didnt have the heart to tell my boyfriend, family, or friends what happened because I felt so stupid, and so far from myself after what had happened. (Now everyone knows) I went home to open my LED Perfectio X and read the user manual, turns out I can not use this product due to my Systemic Lupus erythematosus.

I then took more time to research all my products and find no legitimate website for their products. She told me my LED facial light even has an app as shown on box, which in reality it does not. My mind completely opened with my experience. All employees telling me people with cancer use these products, in reality I was sold and purchased a product I could not safely use and they ignored my medical background and just flew with the fact that I never had a facial done before. I went back to Resveralife the next day to get a refund based on the fact that I physically could not use the machine based on my health and was concerned about my facial appointment.

For a blue and red light machine was used on my skin. I asked for a manager. I was awkwardly hit on by one of the male employees as Every employee singly went to the back office to see if the manager was in and would come back out to ignore that i originally asked the question. Till i had to repeat and show my existence, being rudely told they did not have access to refunds and I’d need to speak with Sahar and the manager. Luckily I texted Maya earlier that morning in case this would occur to ask her for the managers number. I left to call them both Naor and Sahar, and was given extremely aggressive attitudes, telling me they are a huge corporation and I’d need to reach out to corporate, they don’t give refunds and absolutely no one had any clue to what my disease was.

Sahar was very upset I even called Naor because he is not a manger and I broke her trust. I ended that call extremely confused. Asking why was she yelling at me, her client, did she not understand I was put in danger using these products? I wanted my money back. She told me she would research my disease and get me products that would work for me. I repeatedly asked for my money back, wanting nothing to do with anymore of their products. Manager and Sahar told me to reach out to customer service on all products. Nothing made sense, so I went again back to my products websites and they all have faulty customer service programs and some don’t even exist!

I spoke with the manager again to be given the phone number to the corporate office. He in turn gave me the phone number to the Resveralife shop on king street and said to ask for customer service. I went back once again with my boyfriend to request a full refund, they called the cops on us, all their employees except two grabbed their things and fled the building before the cops arrived. We noticed them up the street at their other location Tresor Rare. I stood on the sidewalk for hours till an employee named Tomas told me to dispute the charge on my credit card for he wanted to resolve this situation peacefully and would do his best on his end. We left and I am still waiting to be refunded. This place is a disgrace.

Stay far away. No No refund signs, if there is they move it around or hide it, no employees show or tell their last name, no ticket prices on products, they probably dont use a facial pamphlet or offer single sessions becuase they dont have an actual license to do facials or anything they claim to be nor a liquor license to offer me alcohol before my appointment. Once your Credit Card is swiped, you've officially been scammed. Something must be done about these stores.

Unethical sales tactics at Resveralife Mississauga, ON location

The employees working at the Resveralife location in Erin Mills Town Centre in Mississauga, ON Canada use sleazy and unethical sales tactics to sell their products. They jack the prices up when they first present the items to you, and then, after seeing the shocked expression on your face, they lower the price and whisper that they are giving you a deal because they "like" you and ask you to keep the supposedly discounted amount a secret. Facials at their location are opportunities for the sales reps to use high-pressure sales tactics to try to upsell you on their overpriced products. The machines and skin care creams, cleansers, and serums are good and they do work, but they are priced much higher than they need to be. The employees are all from different parts of the world (mainly from either Israel or from Europe), and there never seems to be anyone with a North American accent. Perhaps high pressure sales tactics work in other countries/places, but that type of predatory sales technique is frowned upon in North America. If you decide to become a customer at Resveralife or any of their other retail locations/products such as Orogold Cosmetics/Celestolite/Jelessi then please do your research. Never let them pressure you to buy into something that you don't need, and don't believe them whatsoever when they pretend to drop prices just for you; they do that for EVERYONE to try to rope in gullible customers. Although I like the products, I won't be shopping there anymore because I don't want to empower any company that practices unethical sales practices. I am really disgusted by the pressure, misrepresentation, and lies that I experienced from interacting with a couple of the employees there, and I really don't understand how anyone can feel good about working for a company that prioritizes scamming their customers instead of serving their customers. Be sure to read other reviews about this company as well before you do business with them.

I contacted the Police after shopping at Resveralife in Brantford, ON

Everything you read is true. The misdirection and misinformation is unbelievable. From the moment you arrive on the scene they are setting you up for the fall. It begins with the strongly scented soap at the level of the street. Soon they have you in a chair and they are giving you the voila moment where the bags under your eyes magically disappear. Within moments you're in the private facial room where they are piling boxes on top of you and showing you all the free stuff you'll get if you buy a machine to smooth your cheeks. Just be careful because the script is written to confuse. You won't have a clue what you're doing until you get out of their control but by then it's too late. Although there is a sign saying no refunds on the counter you don't see it before you're in the private room.

It's like a game of three card monty in there and of course there is the seduction. These people will try anything to sell you and according to one employee some of the facial rooms are surveilled by video which without disclosure is a complete invasion of privacy. This is akin to a criminal enterprise in my mind. Most of the employees are Israeli. From what I can tell, none of them live in my community. I broke down my experience for the police and I contacted the security in the mall where the store exists. There is no phone number for this place. When I contacted the mall for the number they couldn't even find the store in their directory. Be very careful if you deal with this company. The real shame is that the machines they sell are actually quite good. Too bad they use the sleaziest sales techniques in the world to sell them.
