We were contacted by phone. The person representing the company told us they would do live presentations. I have learned this is untrue. We get called after I have called them. They always have one or two people who are very interested in the timeshare. I originally paid $700. When I sent a certified letter to cancel the contract, they called and convinced us they would be able to sell it in a few months. They also refunded $200. I should have taken my money at that time. But they are very convincing. The man who called is Scott. I am contacting our lawyer.

If it sounds to good to be true, trust your instincts - it is !

Man name Robert Verrier from Resort Owners Resales called and told me I could get $40,000 for my 20,000 WorldMark credits all I had to do was pay a $1,200. advertising fee to his company. I asked a lot of questions. He dutifully gave his "information" and I did the research. NOT one single thing checked out except for the phone number. Also, found many consumer complaints as well.

Total scam

I paid this company $600 in July 2017 to sell my timeshare. A man by the name odd James Peters was blowing up my phone and email until I signed the contract with them. He stated that my resort was his specialty and that the longest it has ever taken him to sell was 90 days. Here we are 2 years later and my timeshare is still not sold. Furthermore, James will not answer the phone anytime I've tried to call for updates, and he will not return messages.

To add insult to injury, just yesterday I got a message on my voicemail from a "Scott", acting like Im a new customer and wanting me to sign a contract with them to sell my timeshare.

Scam

Scott promised my father that he could sell the unit for $15900.00. I did research on timeshares at that address and there were a lot of units for sale for $4000.00 to $7500. Gee if I wanted to buy a timeshare at that address what amount should I pay? Hmm.....Oh and he also wanted my father to send $700.00 before he starts the process. What a scam!

They say they can sell your time share, but they dont, and they forge a check on your account

Sweet talking Laura Gallo will claim to sell your timeshare but they won't make any effort to do so. They ask for a voided check to ensure you can pay "advertising and marketing" when it is sold. After 10 days (you don't have any time to see what they will do) they forge a check with your account information and take the funds and the scam is all over with.

False Review about Forgery

We do not forge anything. We do not process any check or credit card information until the contract is signed and returned back to us. This is a state law and one we take very seriously. This is a federal offense that is being claimed against us and it is not true. The only reason we ask for a voided check is to verify that the numbers given to us by the client are correct so we don't have any bounced checks. We do not process any payment until it is authorized by the client.
