Ren's AAA Home Puppies Reviews

  • Oct 5, 2015

What an EVIL WITCH this woman is! First off, her house is disgusting, the puppies have NEVER been bathed (it is obvious by the feces and dirt they are covered/matted down in). But like me, you will still feel so sorry for these poor puppies, you will be compelled to look at them. I was a first time puppy buyer. I wanted a Yorkie. Ren stated she had a full-blooded Yorkie for $250. I had never personally seen a Yorkie but read about them and wanted one. My husband and I were horrified at the conditions of the dogs. They are kept in small, gross “cubicles”, 2-3 puppies being in each small square. The poor "Yorkie" was very quiet and seemed terrified. There was a hyper dog in there with him, trampling him. I didn't even see food/water. He was covered in poop, had kennel cough, had never been bathed, and when we brought him home, he couldn't walk properly. His hind legs were not matured- at 14 weeks because he had never had space to walk.

He also seemed confused with toys and it was apparent no one had ever played with him. For whatever reason, I was blinded by my concern for the dog and assumed she was just a nasty person and decided to purchase the puppy.

Before we left, the woman gave us a shady looking vaccination/worming record, made me sign a waiver, and then gave us this story about how all puppies have diarrhea when they leave due to "puppy shock" and to feed him rice soup. Now, I am an idiot for not researching things better (I usually do) and I did not know much about puppies (I’ve always had cats) or puppy mills but THAT IS WHERE SHE GETS HER PUPPIES! He exhibited all of the signs. I was horrified to read the other reviews of all the poor trusting souls who bought puppies from her and they spent thousands and the dogs later died. We started realizing he wasn't a Yorkie immediately after we left. I thought his ears would perk up and once we groomed him, he'd look more like one. However, we asked multiple vets and WHAT WE GOT WAS A SNAUZER or Dachshund-Yorkie mix. BUT WE PAID FOR A YORKIE. I called her to let her know that we did not appreciate being lied to, and she said I couldn't prove it without a DNA test and that even then, I signed a waiver. She acted untouchable – probably because she’s been getting away with this since 1994. I told her she was a morally horrible person.

It is obvious to anyone with eyes that he is not a Yorkie. Not knowing what to expect next since he had horrible diarrhea and a concerning cough, we took him to the vet. Luckily we have a family member that is head of an animal rights advocacy group (that’s right, REN) who told us they've been trying to shut her down for 3 years! I wish I had done my research but you'd never expect a woman to do this to innocent puppies and people. Our mutt has ear mites, roundworms, HAD NEVER BEEN VACCINATED or WORMED, and Coccacia.
