It took two weeks for my decal to arrive, and after following the instructions to activate it, the system said that the number I had been given was "already in use". I was finally so fed up that I emailed and told them I was NOT going to participate because of all the frustration and that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB. I filed a complaint with the BBB and within 10 minutes I got an email back from Referral Cars saying they were going to refund my money. It was back on my card within the hour. Unfortunately, I do NOT believe the reviews from the two people stating that they have actually gotten paid from this company. Probably one of their employees posting so that it looks like there really are people out there getting paid.

a customer buys a decal in a state where window decals are illegal, and Referral Cars ships that decal to them,
that does not mean that Referral Cars is supporting the use of that decal in that state.
Again, Drivers must check with their local and state laws and ensure that they are in compliance to place
a decal on their car, in their state, before starting a Referral Cars campaign on their car.

If you purchased shipping for a decal after April 15 2018, there are no annual renewal fees or any other types of fee's other than what was paid at checkout and on your receipt.

If you purchased shipping for a decal before April 15 2018 you may be subject to the following terms below.
You will always be notified at least 3 days in advance prior to billing. You will also be sent a receipt of payment after billing. If you do not cancel prior to being billed and desire a refund, you will be eligible for a full refund per our refund policy contained here under the section titled "Refund Policy". You (Customer) understand and acknowledge that you are signing up for an annual renewal fee of $35 (or pro rated amount of $8.76 for *earlier renewal date which renews 90 days after initial purchase of the Limited Time Offer). If you feel the program is not for you or don't want to be billed for the annual renewal of your phone tracking code, call us any time previous to your renewal date to avoid the purchase fee of $35 and enrollment into our "Auto-Renewal" program that will renew activation of your phone tracking code keeping your decal active and tracking all sales and activity from your driving efforts. If you do not call or email to cancel previous to your scheduled renewal date you will be charged $35 or pro-rated amount of $8.76.
*We reserve the right to adjust the date of the first bill according to renewal schedules and for either of the above offers. In the event your renewal becomes due prior to 12 months post purchase you will be billed a pro-rated amount of the annual renewal and not the full amount. Our Limited Time Offer as explained above has an annual renewal schedule of 90 days after purchase and the pro-rated amount that will be billed is $8.76. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue the activation of your phone tracking code to any user at any time at our sole discretion.
Return Policy:
We want you to be fully satisfied with every decal that you are sent from us. Therefore, if you are not satisfied, you may return it within 30 days of the date that the product was delivered to you. Refunds are not automatically processed with returns.

This so called company is nothing but a scam. I paid for shipping and an easy to remember phone # to text to, and now i've seen "my individual phone/text #, on 2 other cars, with decals, in denver. So much for an individual #!. Now they are trying to bill me for an annual membership for $35, and i have only been with them for 3 months. They pro rated it to $8.36, but i have only seen a company do this for extra capital and then go into bankruptcy. Besides, this is the first i've heard of a "membership" fee. I have never received a commission of any sort, after 3 months. Don't do it, it just a way to get your $20!
I signed up a long time ago, don’t even remember how long it’s been. They sent me the decal, i never activated it because I changed my mind. When I signed up for this, the instructions stated "absolutley NO cost" to me. Then they wanted me to pay for thipping. I have also found they charge fees for advertising for them. I have sent 4 emails asking Chana about the discrepancy with in no cost to me statement and she has not answered.
Rather she keeps sending me reminders to accept the campaign. I have unsubscribed and sent an email to take me off their list. I keep getting generic emails to accept the campaign. This borders on harassment.

it seems Chana J is the ONLY ONE making money here I signed up through FB on 3/21/18 and now I have read the reviews I am no longer interested thanks but no thanks glad I did the research.
I saw an ad on Facebook. It said make money just by driving around with their decal on the back of my car. They said just pay the shipping on the decal to get started. The shipping was listed as $6.95. When I started to pay it they offered other options like a second decal for my husbands truck for an additional $5.00, a tracking number for the decals during shipment for an additional $2.00 and an upgrade to your commission payout amount for even more money.
After you finally get through the checkout process they start emailing you to set up your page to track your commissions. Then another email asking you to sign up for the benefits company that will be on your decal at a substantial discount. They tell you that not only will you get that discount but you’ll be able to use your text code on your decal to get a commission off of your own purchase. That’s where it starts to get really sketchy. You get your decal in no time.
I think it was two days to get mine. It says to register your text code on the site that tracks your commissions. So I did and it says it will take up to 24hrs to be active. So I waited 24hrs and tried to use my text code so I could get the double discount. But my text code doesn’t work. So I thought maybe it’s because it’s coming from my phone number. So I tried another phone and it didn’t work for that one either. I think they are just scamming the drivers by charging them for all of these things and then never paying out the commissions.

Glad i did! it's really disgusting to me that there are multiple people willing to get together and screw over families. I suppose we will be told the system went down yet again. So if we have this decal on our cars and people actually want to sign up for Zoom Benefits...how can they do that when they text and they get no response. I believe this whole thing is just a scam to get the money sent in to purchase the decal.

I wanted to know why they said there was a choice of direct deposit OR Paypal.
About 10 minutes after I signed up, I got 5 emails telling me that if I paid $30 I would get more money for my referrals. Then I got two emails saying to sign up for the Zoom Benefits and that because I signed up for ReferralCars, I got a huge discount. I did not sign up for the extra money or the benefits. It really sucks when people try to take advantage of other people who are just trying to make a living the best they can. I needed a second income job that was flexible because I work long, crazy hours. I figured that just driving around with a decal on my window would be great for me as I commute every day. It took two weeks for my decal to arrive, and after following the instructions to activate it, the system said that the number I had been given was "already in use". I was finally so fed up that I emailed and told them I was NOT going to participate because of all the frustration and that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB. I filed a complaint with the BBB and within 10 minutes I got an email back from Referral Cars saying they were going to refund my money. It was back on my card within the hour. Unfortunately, I do NOT believe the reviews from the two people stating that they have actually gotten paid from this company. Probably one of their employees posting so that it looks like there really are people out there getting paid.

This so called company is nothing but a scam. I paid for shipping and an easy to remember phone # to text to, and now i've seen "my individual phone/text #, on 2 other cars, with decals, in denver. So much for an individual #!. Now they are trying to bill me for an annual membership for $35, and i have only been with them for 3 months. They pro rated it to $8.36, but i have only seen a company do this for extra capital and then go into bankruptcy. Besides, this is the first i've heard of a "membership" fee. I have never received a commission of any sort, after 3 months. Don't do it, it just a way to get your $20!

I signed up a long time ago, don’t even remember how long it’s been. They sent me the decal, i never activated it because I changed my mind. Today I look at my bank statement and see that they charged me the 6 bucks out of the blue. I’m looking everywhere to see how to cancel this fricken thing and I can’t find anything!!!

Scam?
I'm still up in the air about them. Its still too early to be sure. However, I noticed that there are a lot of complaints on this site and only 9 on the BBB website. I encourage everyone to place their complaints on the BBB website as it appears that all complaints are forced to be dealt with by referralcars.com. The BBB website had 9 complaints with 9 complaints closed and 3 actually resolved. When I signed up for this, the instructions stated "absolutley NO cost" to me. Then they wanted me to pay for thipping. I have also found they charge fees for advertising for them. I have sent 4 emails asking Chana about the discrepancy with in no cost to me statement and she has not answered.
Rather she keeps sending me reminders to accept the campaign. I have unsubscribed and sent an email to take me off their list. I keep getting generic emails to accept the campaign. This borders on harassment.

I just signed up. After reading these reviews, I will now cancel. I too just received my accepted email from Chana J. She told me she's working very hard to find me a match and will notify me as soon as she can. I just can't believe I even signed up. I am glad I didn't give alot of information though. Such a waste of time!
So, similar red flags to what others have seen, plus one more:
After getting "accepted" into the campaign that had already filled up The exact same campaign for zoombenefits that everybody else got accepted in after it had already filled up), i followed the link provided. When it asked for my email address i gave them a different email address than the one i had used to initially request info. It went through without a hitch, telling me that anybody getting to that page will be immediately "accepted."
Yes, "chana" is my account rep, and the emails i've received are identical to the ones others have received.
Wondering
I did order the decal, trusting soul arent i, anyway the cost of sending the decal was only. $0.68. Why were we charged $6.00+ for it? That in itself is a flag. Did we pay for the decal as well? If so we need to be advised of this. Im a real easy going type of person, BUT, if anyone takes me for a dang fool, it isnt going to be nice. I wonder how the Attorney General for the State of Texas would handle this? Maybe even the internet fraud unit of the FBI? We'll see.

Signed up. Got Chana. Paid 6.95 in check out. Found two 6.96 charges & a 15.00 charge from RC. Also got a 21.95 charge from ZB. Called RC for refund... They processed a regund for ALL OF THE CHARGES. This INCLUDES Zoom Benefits. If you checked here too late like I did, GET OUT NOW. Trust me, I will be eyeing my account closely for the refunds and getting another card when they hit!

it seems Chana J is the ONLY ONE making money here I signed up through FB on 3/21/18 and now I have read the reviews I am no longer interested thanks but no thanks glad I did the research.
I saw an ad on Facebook. It said make money just by driving around with their decal on the back of my car. They said just pay the shipping on the decal to get started. The shipping was listed as $6.95. When I started to pay it they offered other options like a second decal for my husbands truck for an additional $5.00, a tracking number for the decals during shipment for an additional $2.00 and an upgrade to your commission payout amount for even more money.
After you finally get through the checkout process they start emailing you to set up your page to track your commissions. Then another email asking you to sign up for the benefits company that will be on your decal at a substantial discount. They tell you that not only will you get that discount but you’ll be able to use your text code on your decal to get a commission off of your own purchase. That’s where it starts to get really sketchy. You get your decal in no time.
I think it was two days to get mine. It says to register your text code on the site that tracks your commissions. So I did and it says it will take up to 24hrs to be active. So I waited 24hrs and tried to use my text code so I could get the double discount. But my text code doesn’t work. So I thought maybe it’s because it’s coming from my phone number. So I tried another phone and it didn’t work for that one either. I think they are just scamming the drivers by charging them for all of these things and then never paying out the commissions.
Saw the ad on my facebook feed, and i do lots of traveling, thought i could earn some extra bucks. Began to register, and as always when i apply to something, i was checking the company reviews. Glad i did! it's really disgusting to me that there are multiple people willing to get together and screw over families. Oh well, everyone has to grow old, die, and meet their maker. ^.^ wonder what you'll say at the pearly gates, but people like these don't typically contain any spirituality within them. You'll regret that in the next life, if not in this one.

All i see is complaint after complaint from what seems like smart people doing thier research like i am doing and all i see from referralcars is apology after apology but i have seen nothing from the smart people saying bad things about referralcars saying yes they did what they said they would do and all is good and they are collecting commission checks so my research tells me this is a SCAM
