We attempted to purchase a vehicle in May 2012. There were mechanical issues with the vehicle but we traded in our other vehicle and couldn't "undo" the sale. Certain people (mentioned in other reprts) told us they would make it all right. Months went by with no resolution. They told us to hold off on payments to the ceditor until they could make good on their promises & even made a payment for us. Sounds nice right? Wrong! It just screwed us up even more. This went on for several months to the point we just asked them to take the vehicle back. They did but apparently sold it for a loss as it then showed up on my credit for a debt of almost $6k (original amount was around $15k). We were never contacted to pay this or to dispute it. Basically the dealership had our payments in a mess before we could even make the 1st one. They also sold/loaned out our trade in but the title was never transferred so we continued to receive tickets from the idiot running toll booths. Luckily the DOT have compentant employees and we were able to have this part resolved. There is an alert on the BBB as well as several unresolved complaints that the company couldn't be bothered to respond to. I am now fighting with the credit company to have this removed from my credit report. It appears they just changed the name of the company but are still ripping off Tulsans under the name Fairway Motor Cars. This company name has an F rating with the BBB & numerous complaints as well.
I likely will never see a satisfactory resolution to my issue but hopefully can keep someone else from experiencing this. Please do your research and stay as far away from this place as you can!!
