Too late for me, but I'm now seeing other families were ripped off by these souless scammers. We came upon ours in Cabo San Lucas. They were marketing "pre-construction" timeshare units, with the offer to buy our existing timeshares. we were taken to the tune of $29K.

We were anxious to dump our 2 existing properties because they are all now converting back from flex time to fixed week. People paid extra to convert from fixed week to flex so they could book into anytime of the year. Now that their properties are built out and sold out, and it is difficult to reserve a room for the week you really want, they are now saying you can pay extra (again) to convert back to fixed week to guarantee you can get the unit you want on the same week each year. That's another scam of its own!

So, when we attended Punta Cabo's "90 minute" presentation in June 2015, we jumped at their offer to buy our 2 properties (3 weeks/year) for their 4 weeks of "beachfront" spacious 2-bedroom units that were to begin construction later in the summer. We paid the $29K with a credit card after they gave us a contract that showed they already had a buyer for our units that had deposited half the money into an escrow account, with the remainder that would be paid to us upon closing of sale (by Platinum Marketing of America, another phoney company). Our contract has a provision that we could cancel at anytime for a full refund of our money. Email sent -no reply. Phone call made and message left - no return call.

I'll be back down there this summer, and I'll be scouring the streets for these scumbags. I understand they have moved their scam down the street, and are now using the name Punta Arena (which was the name on the account that I wired my $29K into), among other aliases, Maybe I'll run into one of the drug cartel leaders (they all vacation in Cabo) and I can get him to assist me. I understand they don't like these timeshare scammers, either, because they give Mexico a bad name.

My husband and I attended a marketing presentation last November 2015 in Los Cabos. We were promised that Bloomberg Holding Enterprises (BHE) would buy our timeshare for $68,000 and pay us $4,000 for the remaining weeks we own with The Villa Group. Furthermore, we were promised $10,000 a week if we allowed The Residency Collection to buy back 4 weeks for a total of $40,000. The only reason we agreed to buy into The Residency Collection was for the $112,000. After we returned to the United States, we researched BHE and easily discovered this company is a scam. All of our corresponding to try and get our money back is through e-mails and the company behind this fraud is Punta Pacifico ( Punta Resorts). They funneled all of our money into 2 transactions one titled Vacation Getaway LC and the second titled Hotel VIP MZT for a total of $21,425.00!!
