I have been a Progressive customer for about 4 years. Recently I was force off road by road blockage by poorly placed road barrels by construction company.
I hit low road divider and bent car tire rims. I had strut damage as well. I reported this to Progressive. They paid $800.00 for new rims and prorated tires limits. My cost was an additional 1200.00 + deductible.
Progressive increased my rate by $3600.00 a year for this accident they rated as driver fault. I have tried to reason with them. They refused to adjust.
This is the company thay has a TV ad showing a driver hitting a pot hole(“no problem sir your covered") the ad goes on to say. It dose not tell the driver " You are at fault and your insurance will increase 30-40%.
You will go to a hotel, meet with Harry nouhan Jr and Scott graham who will promise $500 with 1-2 triples the first week. 3-4 triples $750 the 2nd week and $1000+ with 5+ triples a week. youll get like $25 or 50 per rgu over $1000. They will want you to go to straight commission.
Problem is you wont be paid. They will switch up the story once you start actually getting some deals in. Then in the contract it says you forfeit ALL orders if/when they decide to let you go.
Just stay away from them, and most other contractors in the CHicago area. Look to work directly with Comcast, and if they dont have a position available, then keep it stepping. These contractors are bogus, and I dont know why Comcast insist on going with them. They don't pay their employees and it puts Comcast in a bad light.
i was driving 120 miles one way to get to work every day and make deals with them (Rockford to Minooka, IL). Lost my truck in the process (probably due to all the driving) and wasnt even paid...companies like these need to die off, and the people that represent them can also go the way of their company for all the misfortune they have caused people like me.
