I worked for this company and they performed a background check. The legal limitations are DMV: 3 years, Criminal 7 years, Credit Check, Address History 10 years. The background company gave them 30 years. Not only is this not legal, they saw a crime that clearly listed dimissed/no conviction, and a speeding ticket from 7 years ago. all which were not allowed to be seen by the employer and the background company should not have provided. It also said there were pictures of concern on my facebook, there is nothing but family pictures. They puled up a rip off complaint aganist me but did'nt provide the company with the rebuttal that were in the report.
The HR person, Larry Furman did nothing but bad mouth the former Office Manager, from day one, as did the President Jeff Trenton on our first working day together. They are very unprofessional. You would think seeing that Mr. Trenton has a daughter that is transgender, he would be more willing to listen to people and want to know what happened and not be so immediate to judgement. It was a domestic violence situation in which I almost died and it was 20 years ago.
HR told me about Jeff's transgender, adopted daughter from day one, hour one, none of my business. Larry has the biggest mouth ever!
