Ordered a candle for a Christmas present on Dec. 5 2016. They charged my credit card, and never sent the candle. Their number is no longer in service and the website just goes to a page that says "sold out" and has a spot to check the code from a candle you may already have, to find how much a ring is worth. That too is a giant lie, because you can make up a code and it always tells you that your ring is worth $10. Very upsetting!

I ordered $84.99 worth of candles on Dec. 9th on prize candle's website. I have not received them or heard from the company. I got a confirmation number and was told via email that I would receive a message when they shipped.

I have tried calling, but the number is not in order. I have emailed them, but I get it returned undeliverable.

I ordered for candles through an email that I received that stated if I bought for it would only be $32 this order was placed on December 9th as of December 15th when I have not received a shipping number I tried to email the company through their customer service link and requested information I did not hear anything back so I went to Facebook and tried to reach them through multiple post asking about my order and wanting my answer if they could not provide me adequate information as to what was going on I wanted my money back. Again I heard nothing so again I tried to reach out to customer service and this time got a mailer daemon email back stating that the email address I had entered was incorrect again I reached out through Facebook and demanded that someone reach out to me and give me some information or again I wanted my money back no response after reading some of the other post you have begin to believe that the company is going out of business and is starting to rip people off multiple people have been complaining about not receiving their items now I am out $45 and I'm not getting what I ordered or expected!!

I ordered 8 Prize Candles and have never received them nor have I received a tracking number and the phone number has been disconnected.

I've emailed the company repeatedly and I do not get any response. I've posted on their Facebook page and they do not respond.

I placed an order with prize candle company on December 8 2016.They were putting there candles on sale for the holiday. I bought something for my sister and wanted it to be delivered to her everything went through Except I waited to receive my shipping email information. I never got one! I emailed the company twice never heard from them. Went to the Website it's shut down! Totally a rip off! So I had to contact my bank and report it!

BBB

I have just filed a complaint with the BBB. I tried e-mailing them and my letters came back not able to deliver to that address. I learned through some detective work on my part that their address is a post office box. I will keep all informed as to what happens.

Follow up on the BBB

Even the founder and owner Nancy Lyczkowski has removed all traces of the company from her facebook, linkedin, and twitter. She now only lists Bebe.

I filed with the BBB. They have sent me info stating that Prize Candle has until 1/13/17 to respond to the complaints that have been made against them. They will notify me as to what will happen next. Just wanted to keep you up to date with what was happening.

I ordered previously from this company with no problems, but as I get my holiday online shopping done, I thought the candles would be a nice gift again for new friends,etc. I ordered, paid for FedEx Shipping and waited almost 1 month to get my order.. As I carefully get the box from my postal carrier, (why did I pay FedEx Shipping I wonder? ) I noticed a jingle like sound from the box.. I open the box only to see that 1 of the 3 canes was shattered and only 1 of the 3 candles was boxed in a small box..there was barely any packing material in the box! I am extremely furious and have emailed the company in hopes to get a full refund as I can't send back the candles in a box full of glass! I will banter them with emails and phone calls but probably will not get a Full refund if any at all!

Candle Prize should be investigated for false advertising. The week of 12.5.16 they advertised their merchandise at deep discounts without indicating they did not intend to honor any orders that came in that week. The previous week I placed an order for six candles. The candles arrived on Friday 12.16.16. The box had been stamped by the USPS as damaged. When I opened the box all six candle jars were broken. They packing was inadequate. The jars had been stacked on top of one another with nothing in between the jars. Bubble wrap had not been used; only foam peanuts. Obviously whoever packed the candles did not care if the merchandise arrived unbroken.

I am writing because I have been a customer for prize candle for 2 years now and never ran into any problems until this holiday season. I placed a order for 3 candles on promotion for 33$. They took forever to get to my home and when i did finally recieve them all you heard was broken glass rattling in the box I havenot opened the box secondary to not wanting to get cut. I have tried to contact numerous times via phone (the number is disconnected)and via email (wrote two emails no response) I am highly upset these were a Christmas gift and now i have no gift,broken candles, and am out of 33$ I would really appreciate if someone got to the bottom of this . I just want my candles or my money refunded to me and to make it all worse had to be the order i placed near the holidays

Wrong addresshb

I went on Google maps and located a business with the same address of 1515 7th St in Santa Monica, CA. He told me that because the Prize Candle adress also includes a #87 in the address that it's is a post office box right near his business. So the address they are giving is not even real. Think I am going to look into the BBB on this one.

Oh where oh where could my candles be

I have ordered eight candles. The have taken my money and I have received no candles. Like others have said the phone number is not in service and the is no other way to connect with them. They are not returning e-mails.I received order numbers that my order was placed and they said I would receive notice when they would be shipped but nothing so far. I think we have all been taken by the GRINCH.

I ordered candles at 3 for $40 on Dec, 2 I still havent recived them, I emailed the company twice with no response and called the phone number which is now disconnected, they already took the money from my account. i want my merchandise I ordered or the monet returned to me.

Prize Candle took my order and my money for a 3 candle special on December 9, 2016. They sent an email confirming my order and I have yet to recieve what I paid for. I emailed them as to the status of my order, shipping wise, and have gotten no response. Their phone number is no longer in service. What a scam. I am going to report them to the attorney general of california. I eithr want the goods I ordered and paid for now, or a refund now.

Prize Candels is a rip off i receved my order and two off the candles were broke i tired calling the phone number on there web shight it said it was not in service at this time i also have email them lot of times and no responce i have left them my phone number also. And when i ordered it was buy one get one free that did not happen i paid over 80.00 dollars i will never order from them again and it took them for ever to send my order. All i want is to talk to someone to get this figured out. Thanks

I have not received my order which was placed Dec. 2, 2016. Placed order Dec. 2, 2016. Order #R462358365 total $43.99 for the purchase of 3 Prize Candles. I have not received my order & not even gotten a tracking number to show it was mailed. The website www.prizecandle.com says out of stock & does not allow you to see anything else or how to contact them through the website. I have emailed twice through my email order confirmation & have not received any reply back. I have called 310-870-7114 & says number is not in service
