On 12/8 I ordered almost $125 worth of candles. To this day nothing has been shipped and no response to multiple emails requesting updates and all phones lines have been disconnected. There site seems to be redirected and there is no longer a contact section. They are disabling comments on face book and Instagram and have removed the option to send them any messages. They sent multiple emails for promotions prior to 12/9/16 stating they were having a Christmas sale and to order now to get them before Christmas. With less than 2 weeks to go, I don't see how they are planning to do that. To me it seems like this company was going under and they charged a bunch of people without having any inventory available.

What happened to Prizecandle? My emails are being returned, the website is down, phone number said it is not in service at this time. I received two boxes of candles that were poorly packaged. Four candles arrived shattered, two on the bottom of each box. The ones that shattered were not wrapped or boxed separately and the broken ones all had candles directly on top of them with nothing but a small piece of foam covering the wicks between the two. The top candles shattered the lip of the lower candles, causing them to basically fall apart. My husband graduated from MIchigan State with a engineering degree in packaging and shipping. He felt the packaging was insufficient to say the least. I saw multiple complaints on this site so I know I am not the only one. I wonder if it happened on a grand scale and the company is not prepared to deal with the flood of returns and refunds. What happens now to those who want to go to the site to check if they have won a prize ring, or of the value of the ring from the candle? There will be many disappointed in their Christmas gifts.

I had purchased 10 candles as gifts, now I have to find an alternative last minute. I do love the candles and have been pleased in the past. If the company wants to keep current customers, they need to reach out, even with just an announcement on their website or phone that they are aware of the problem and will get back to us as soon as they find a solution.

Placed 2 orders. Only received one and the candles were broken. Can no longer reach company. The shipping company said they no longer ship for them even though their number is still on the shipping slip.

I purchased 4 bath bombs (3 shipped to my family’s home for a gift ) and one for myself. There’s were all broken & mine was fine. I was recently able to use mine & they sent me the wrong size it barely fits my pinky!! And I went to check my code they sent to find out my value & see if I won another ring and I find out they screwed over a lot of people. I want my money back and the right size ring! I’m very upset about this & would like to talk to someone about this issue I feel ripped off!

I got a bath bomb from them with a Candle purchase. It was supposed to have a code in it and I was supposed to go to PRIZECANDLE.COM to enter the code. I used the bath bomb in the bathtub today but there was absolutely nothing inside of it. I tried to go to their website to complain and ask for a new bath bomb. The website is shut down. I went to their Facebook page and told them about it. Surprise, no reply from them. All I want is to never deal with them again. I purchased several (15) candles and never did get a ring that was worth more than $10. I can buy those at Wally World every day for less than $8. A pathetic way for them to do business. I wouldn't recommend that anyone do business with them at this point.

Bought a bunch of candles at kohls last winter and none had rings when they were burned, but a code to go online and see what you won. The website is down and you don't get anything. What a waste! no way to contact anyone.

I ordered from Prize Candle last year before Christmas. I bought 4 candles hoping to receive before Christmas. When Christmas came and gone I started emailing the company with no response. When I finally received my order (3 weeks after Christmas) 2 of the 4 candles were shattered, it appeared the Prize candle department just put the candles in a box with no form of padding/bubble wrap and shipped out. I emailed the company and did not receive a response to have them reship new candles. the one candle that was not shattered I gave to my daughter whom I gifted the candle to. She burned the candle all the way to the bottom and there was no prize ring. How disappointing is that?

I have since told my friends and family not to buy from thier site. I think they have since went out of business though, so I am out $40 anyway.

November &December 2016, I bought a few candles for the holidays. They came broken but were replaced right away. Second order I ordered a ton f Christmas gifts. I got the completely wrong order and again all broken candles from not being packed appropriately. I inquired and said I would get new ones. New ones never came, company emails bounced back, website was shut down and phone, and I was out of holidays presents right before Christmas. Saw many others had complaints. Cannot check prizes without website.

Bad company practice closed doors after christmas holiday. Dissapointed with merchandise that was delivered for gifts well over 200.00 spent wanted to return many of the items but the company was no where to be found. The products were not as marked and many had foul odors specially the Bourban Candle. Needeles to say i am very dissapointed that a company would close down in this fashion they must have known what they were doing when they started dropping prices down much lower than normal just before the holidays knowing they were going to be closing their doors so no customer could get refunded and let them know what they felt about their recent orders. All bath bombs are supposed to come with rings inside. I ordered multiple bombs and none had rings. They only had codes telling me my ring was worth $10. I GOT NO RINGS.

I ordered three candles to give as gifts to my granddaughters. Thought they would enjoy the suspense of "waiting" for their prizes. ALL THREE candles arrived broken. They were not packaged for shipping endurance at all. They were placed inside a cardboard box with thin cardboard dividers separating them. No padding or protection AT ALL. When I tried to call them, I realized there were NO phone numbers on their ads or on the packing slip. All I had was their website info. I sent NUMEROUS messages on their "contact us' link on their website. No response. Ever. Nothing. Nada. Zilch! I was able to remove the candles from the broken glasses and put them in another holder but they weren't fit to give as gifts.

I ordered a total of 4 prize candles on December 8, 2016 and paid $48.99 for them. They took the money from my bank account on December 9, 2016. I emailed them a week later asking where my delivery confirmation was , but never received a reply. On December 20, I finally received a delivery confirmation that it was shipped on the 20th through FedEx. On December 21, 2016 I checked the tracking number and it showed that it was unable to deliver, due to damaged package. As of today December 25, I never received a thing from Prize Candle. These candles were Christmas gifts and Prize Candle has ripped off many many people and something needs to be done. I want my money back!!

Prize candles said there would be a ring in all bath bombs and I used two and they only had a code and no ring. I entered in the code online and there was suppose to be two rings at 10 dollars a piece. I do not have a single one. This is a total ripoff!!!!

Had Christmas specials and when my gift receivers went to the Prize Candle web site to descovery their gift the web site was gone. Can not find PrizeCandle.com No longer operating, so my gifts were able to be obtained. This company should be ashamed of not honoring the candles and gifts they sold.

The rest that followed on the remaining items I purchased ...Left NO RINGS AS PROMISED...Just left a paper for me to go on site to SEE IF I WON? I THOUGHT I WAS ALREADY A WINNER...As they say in EACH CANDLE ! VERY DISAPPOINED and embarrassing for I have given some as Xmas & bday gifts. I want to be reimbursed for ALL MONIES SPENT ON THIS FRAUD OF A COMPANY. I COMPLAINED TWICE TO PRIZE CANDLE AND EMAILED THEM . THEY DIDNT RESPOND BACK.

I placed an order with prize candle.com for Christmas gifts. I received an email the tracking number 11/28/16. I have not received my package or a refund. I have Kendra the usps case number and have never heard from her again. If really like a refund at this point. There is no response to emails and the web site has a solid out sign.

I ordered my friend a bath bomb set, it was three, what looked like cookies, smelled great, they were all supposed to have rings in them.I ordered them in september because they were having a big sale, and they were given to her for christmas.

I went to see her a week ago and asked what kind of rings she got. She said there werent any rings, just slips of paper with the codes on them! I'm so mad

I purchased bath bombs candles etc from Priaecandles.com for Christmas gifts.

When the grandchildren used the bath bombs there were no prize rings included. The cards with the codes to see the value of the rings was included. When I went to the website to find out what was going on there is a banner accross the top of the website that says SOLD OUT you are still able to put in your prize codes but there is no info on how to contact Prize Candles

I purchased 2 prize bath bombs to use as stocking stuffers for my own and my daughter's stockings. We were both very disappointed when, upon using the bath bombs that were sold as having a prize inside, we found no prize ring. My daughter felt instantly like it was her fault and, thinking she accidentally lost the ring down the drain or threw it away, she started crying and searching the bathroom for the "missing" ring. My bath bomb, used today, also had no ring inside. We both received a code paper inside the bath bomb, but we cannot get to the website to contact the company or to check the codes. This was a very big disappointment.

Back on December 8, 2016, I ordered several Prize Candles to give as Christmas presents. I figured they may take a week or so to ship but I had plenty of time. I almost immediately received an email confirming my order and telling me they would email me when it was being shipped. I waited and waited but no email. So I tried to contact them at the address provided. It got kicked back as undeliverable. I tried again and same thing. Finally, a few days after Christmas, I got an email saying they were on their way. Late, but at least they were coming. I received them this morning and found one of the candles broken. They say on the invoice to contact them within 30 days if anything is broken so it can be returned. So once again I tried contacting them at the email address provided, and once again it got kicked back as undeliverable. I started looking for another way to contact them and found their facebook page. Apparently, the same thing has been happening to their other customers as well. Lots of people are complaining about late shipments and broken candles.

This company sent me an email with a deal of three candles for $27. I ordered three candles for Christmas and did not officially check my bank statement. When over two weeks went by and I realized I had no candles still I looked at my bank statement and I was charged $85! I contacted them about the candles and there was no reply. The website also would not load. I received the candles three days before Christmas and two were not in boxes and the third was in a box and broken. I again attempted to contact the company with no response as well as call the number on the receipt which was "temporarily out of service ". I want my money back!

I have ordered from this company before with no problems. On this order, it was placed in late November or early December. I was able to see a shipping paperwork done on 12/05/16 but it did notbactually get to fed ex until 17 days later.

I sent two separate emails complaining about their customer service. I ordered and received 3 candles on December 22, bur all my candles are broken. My emails have gone and my most recent email was returned as undeliverable.

I want to get my money back, can you help me?

I bought candles in early December, they didn't ship until late December. They didn't come individually boxed - one candle came broken. I tried to email customer service and the email cannot be delivered because it took too long on their email's end. I'd like for my broken candle to be replaced or to get a refund for it. If you go on their Facebook page they seem to have skipped town - so many people are angry, have damaged product, missing orders, etc and the company will not respond.

I ordered over $600 in prize candles. I have 5 that were damaged in shipping due to improper packing. I sent pictures as requested, was contacted and told that I would get a refund. I have not received a refund, the emails to support bounce and no communication from them.

Ordered and paid for 7 candles and have not receved any of them. This is absurd at $24.99 a candle and shipping which i paid for expedited shipping!

Received candles from Prize Candle today.2 out of 3 were broken.Did not know they were broken,when reaching into box,I promptly cut my thumb.So not only have I been injured but the candles that were to be given as gifts were damaged. One candle was ok.Unable to contact company by Internet or phone #.It appears that they have closed,no current posts on their Facebook page. I had ordered from this company numerous times in the past and was delighted by the outcome,candles and rings were great.Gave a candle to a friend for Christmas and she also has been unable to contact them to have ring appraised? ?? Ordered 8 candles in early November. Money was taken from my account. Had never heard back until appro 6 days ago stating they were shipped. Arrived today the 29 of dec. most were broken. Not well packaged at all. And the candles were smaller and am very dissatisfied. Unable to get onto the website. Phone number is disconnected. Very unhappy consumer. I am been ripped off of appro eighty dollars. And received dollar store merchandise

My Cousin Unfortunately Bought 5 or 6 Candles Back at End of October or November not quite sure and Received All of the Candles BROKEN! She Said she talked to someone With the company and they Said SHE Would have to pay The Return Shipping and everything to get Replacements And I Ended up Getting a Broken Candle for Christmas Which I Can Attach Pictures of it here!I've tried 3 times to email them and HAVE NEVER Heard back and neither has she and she is very busy working Full Time!We Both Need Some Assistance from someone! Prize candle put out an outrageous and awesome deal. 4 candles with rings for 32 dollars plus shipping. The total came to 44.81 or close to that. I put in the order just like last year when I actually got my order. This company used its trusting client base to run a holiday scam and gain 100s of peoples account information and payments then didn't send the orders. I tried emailing this company, contacting representatives by messenger, calling the only phone numbers, and commenting on the page and add. This is when I realized we got taken along with 100s of others. Every attempt I have made was with no awnser and everything is shut down. Email, site, phone is off and I want my payment info secured and our,money back or product. I also want compensation for the stress and headache this has caused us as a family. I will probably never trust anything you have to order online again because I am tramatized. Im also in fear of identity fraud especially with bank info involved. Thank you for your time

I've been a customer of Prize Candle for several months and never had a problem. My very forst order had 4 candles in it, one of which arrived broken, I took a picture of it and sent it to the company, they immeditely sent me a new candle free of charge and paid the delivery, I was impressed so I ordered another shipment. Order came in fine. I made an additional order on December 9, 2016 when the candles went on sale, 4 candles for 44.99, pretty good deal. I recieved a confirmation number (R028000386) and waited. And then waited some more. Figured with the holidays they might be a bit slow to deliver, Then I went to check the website for an order status, the website is down or at least the link to the site comes back as "no reponse". So I try emailing them, the email gets kicked back telling me that the email doesn't exist. The money has already been taken out of my account and I'm annoyed, I can understand if they ran out of product, but they need to tell their customers that, not take the money and run, which is what they appear to have done.

I ordered candles off this website because the promo deal was obviously too good to be true. If you entered I the promo code JOY you would receive 4 candles for $44.99. Killer deal I thought so I push confirm and placed my order. I got an email with a confirmation number and that was it. Tried emailing the only contact option they gave (three times) with no return of a concern. I tried going back on their website and it only sends me to a page where I can see how much my ring would be appraised for.

Prize Candle located in California still has their FB page up and running. I purchased several items along with thousands of other people as gifts for Christmas. They took everyone's money and ran. I never received my items purchased. They did charge my credit card. I will look into filing a class action lawsuit against this company because they have stolen not from hundreds but thousands of people. The phone number has been disconnected. But, their FB page is still up and running. I hae reported online and will continue to do so until I get answers.

I ordered 4 candles for $40 plus shipping and waited several weeks. When they arrived they were broken and on the box it clearly states they were received damaged. When trying to reach out to the company I found that I was not able to because all their contact info did not work. The phone number had been disconnected, emails bounced back, and the website only said "sold out." I went to their Facebook page but was still unable to reach out to them because they had no way for me to message them or post on their timeline. While on their fb page I noticed that a lot of other people had similar or even worse complaints as I did.

The Prize Candle Company advertises to sell candles that have rings in them as "prizes". Ring value ranges from $10 and up.

My husband ordered a few candles from Prize Candle as a gift for me. I used candle for intended purpose--to burn and to reveal the ring inside said candle.

The candle burned and simply revealed that there was no ring inside.

I believe that if they are advertising to have rings in their products,then they need to put rings in them--no matter the value of ring.

False advertisement and a rip off.
