I Purchased a Signed Def Leppard LP from them, giving them more than I wanted too. Anyways, they stuck the 12 1/4 inch by 12 1/4 inch LP in a 12 inch box, wrapped twice (2X) in bubble wrap. Needless to say, the LP arrived with 3 creased corners. The LP was returned to them and they have been playing games with my Money ever since.

With Crediting it to my account and then sending it to the Credit Card on File, which is years old and doesn't even exist anymore, instead of Crediting it back to the Credit Card that was charged. I'm glad they like to Play Games, as I too will start Playing Games, which will cost them way more that it has cost me at this point. If you want to do Business with this Company, don't say that you weren't Warned. Instead of being a Stand Up Business and correcting "THEIR" Mistake, they want to Play Games.

Any stand up Business would always Credit a Refund the Credit Card the Money came from. That says a lot about this Business!! If you want to do Business with them, then I too will look for your Story to be the next one here on Rip Off Report!!

I sent to Pristine Auctions a number of sports collectables to auction off. I did not get examples of what promotions they would do which was the first red flag I should have seen. A picture and autograph of "Dazzy" Vance took some time to get authenticated so it did not make the saame auction schedule as the other items. I realized 25% of the purchase price on my other items so I set a reserve on the Dazzy Vance of $400. After 3 cycles through the auction, it did not meet the reserve so I ask for it to be returned along with the COA I was charged for.

I was told on 11/15 that it was in "Consignment" to be returned. Two weeks later and I have seen nothing. When I contact the Customer service I have been dealing with, I get told that it is in "Consignment", and to talk to them. Consignment does not respond to my e-mails.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I will be filing a police report on the theft of a $1639 piece of collectibles art. GIven the disclaimers this will not do much but I will get on the record. I would like my property returned and I recommend that no one should consign with Pristine Auctions.

I bid on a Chicago Baers kahlil mack helmet, specifically saying Ridell in the listing, no model, no upc, etc.. it was a stock listing with stock pictures, meaning you are gaurenteed a helmet same item in equal or better quality to the one pictured in their listing, What I recieved was a Fake Ridell helmet, dity missing an foam earpiece on one side, in a box made to look like it was a Ridell helmet, with multiple dif stickers, saying raiders, bears, and above upc saying cowboys helmet, so I tell their customer service it is fake damaged and the bid i placed was even placed after the auction said it was completly ended, I only did this b/c i was locked out of the website for 20 min in live bidding, saying bad gateway error every time i tried to log back in.

so anyway started a complaint with the BBB, they did absolutley nothing (Madison Robles) phoneix BBB, Case/ref # 14890323, after providing tons of pictures showing damage, first pristine auction responds to the legitimacy of the acution, saying bid was placed by me while auction was live, despite having time stamps proving i was up against 1 bidder and shows the over 20 min i was locked out, they send bunch of screen shots, none which have a time stamp showing when they are from on their side, their own computers time stamp, next portions are blacked out, ok whatever next issue its fake not a Ridell helmet, on BBB they tell me I need to prove its fake b/c their listing manager says it is not ok send pictures to Ridell company manufacterer, they state the helmet has never been licensed aproved or made by them, and they have never produced a bears helmet in the color gray, i send this to auction and BBB, nothing happens, after in same argment with auction, they say they will refund me if I prove the helmet is fake.

next under chin strap on same helmet says made in china 2017, sticker inside helmet says the helmet itself was made 3/18????? so any way no doubt it has been altered fake, no riddell helmet, the riddell rep also says it was prob a former raiders or cowboys helmet that someone has removed and replaced with bears decals. anyway bbb and pristine auction refuse to issue a refund, credit or do anything absolutly nothing. I have filled complaint with pristine auction, BBB, Attourney General AZ, and the FTC, tried to stop or dispute payments with CC company, the credit card company won't help, the BBB won't help, am waiting for replies from the others.

I have dealt with Pristine Auction for some time now, and for me it has for the most part been a very positive experience. I've spent well over $2000.00 on this auction site over the past year or so, with the 16% buyers premium going to Jared (which I don't particularly mind) and he shipping costs which were acceptable to me at first but now are ridiculous. I bought two baseballs, and each were shipped separately in boxes which could have literally had 50 baseballs inside of each; no wonder the shipping costs were so high. Then there was a box of Pete Rose Baseball Cards, literally 12 long X 4 wide X 2 1/2 high and it cost $28.00 to ship; insane! I've added up my shipping costs and have spoken with several shipping services and what has cost me over $300.00 USD in shipping from Pristine Auction I could have shipped myself for under $200.00 CDN. Someone is getting paid the big bucks especially when a single baseball is shipped inside a box that's 1814X14. Nuts

I wasn't informed of a buyers premium which other sites do not have and therefore it would be unreasonable to assume you would charge this. As this was my first purchase and it wasn't made clear that $29.60 would be added to my winning bid as well as higher than predicted shipping and insurance.

These vendors ship helmets all the time, why wouldn't they know how much shipping would be? They are a business and they know their costs and should advertise exact amounts. This was not explicitly stated in plain terms before winning the auction or while bidding.

Hiding it somewhere in your user agreement and saying that I should have read the whole things won't hold water in an argument against me. If its not in black and white while bidding then that's just an attempt to hide it. I will not be using your Pristine Auction again for purchases when I can get the same thing on ebay for less without a buyers premium.

Also the Customer service is just terrible. They take forever and are just generally not helpful.

I purchased a poster from Pristine Auction, and was offered the option to purchase a frame. Pristine Auction did not offer a frame to fit the poster I purchased but still offered to sell me an overpriced frame for which I would have no use in using. When Jared contacted me trying to entice more money from me to bid on his site, I explained my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the shipment. Instead of treating the customer as a person of value, he chose to throw a 20 dollar credit on my next purchase. That next purchase would include Jareds cut that goes well beyond 20 dollars. When I didn't want to take his sad and pathetic offer, Jared showed how nasty and disrespectful he really is. Continuously trying to place the blame on me the customer and repeatedly emailing me to try and push his agenda. Finally I had enough and told him he wouldn't change my mind. He then had a website contact me for a review only to go on and lie and edit the emails sent to best serve his cause. I advise anyone reading this to not let this man use his influence to shame you. I am a veteran of the US Navy and I won't be bullied by some Auction owner who feels the need to disrespect others .

They state the merchandise was fully disclaimed on the auction window. Why would a reputable company auction worthless merchandise ? I believe I was dipped scammed I also believe the bidding process was artificially elevated. I am not an idiot ! I would never bid on damaged merchandise to pay over inflated pricing. Beware when using this company. I would snap shot everything you bid on prior to closing the deal. Slide of hand could be their tactic The big kicker with this company is. If you're not satisfied with the product they sell. They will refuse to take it back and refund or money nor will they send a undamaged replacement

Do not trust this company.

I bought an item online through Pristine Auctions. The item that I received was not in the condition that their ad description represented the item. They included photos of the basketball I bought. The photo showed a small smudge on an autographed Michael Jordan ball Under the signature. However, when I got the ball there were two huge smudges on each side of the ball. These huge smudges were not shown in the photos nor were they in the worded description provided by the company. Now I stuck with a worthless ball that I paid nearly $1,000 for. Please do not use this auction house.

I bid on a won a signed Jung h*o Kang baseball on June 9, 2016. I paid for the ball and received confirmation. I checked my account and it showed that my order had a shipping label made and it was going to be shipped. Then all of a sudden, I received an email stating that the ball was placed on auction in error and they could not find a suitable replacement. However, I went to the site to see if this was true and found 2 balls signed by Jung h*o Kang that were the exactly the same that are on auction at the time of this report. Below is the email that was sent:

I am sorry to inform you but unfortunately this item was listed in error and is not available. We have attempted to locate a comparable replacement, but have been unsuccessful in our search. At this point we will need to offer a full refund in the amount of 41.60 which includes the buyer's premium and will automatically be applied to your next invoice.

If you would like to have the refund placed back on your credit card, them please let us know and we will make the appropriate changes.

The obvious reason for this dishonesty is because I have seen comparable balls signed by Kang go for around 100.00 and they did not want to allow me to win this auction for 60 instead.

There is risk in auctions and it is not ethical to refuse to allow a winner to receive the item just because it did not reach their desired amount.

There are all different ways to prove this. Bid on anything directly after daily auction starts and it will state that you have been outbid. They could have a hundred items and you can chose any one or more of them and you will be automatically be outbid. Try it. There is no reserve on their daily auctions. They tried to state to me when I bought this to their attention that they all had previous bids. Not possible right after an auction starts. Sorry but nice try.
