I gave the Wheelchair, a Jazzy Select "C" type "A". Which the Maker of the wheelchair, Claims they Do Not Make back Preferred Homecare Tried to Bill me for the Arms, the Seat, and a Special Control Arm I didn't Order. My Insurance Co. Agrees, and Denies the Claim. Preferred Homecare Still Bills me, insists I have to pay for a Wheelchair that was Wrong. I want Preferred Homecare to give Me and my Medicare Provider our Money back.
I had a hip replacement surgery don june 7th 2017 and they supplied a walker for me at the hospital. The insurance info was given to them in july I recieved a bill for 23 dollars and change for the walker. Then in september I recieved a bill from them for 57. Dollars and change from them for the walker. These bills were paid by me immediately.
Then january 2018 I recieve another bill from them for another 10 dollars by now I am seriously irritated that they just keep sending me bills. I call there billing dept and they argue with me and tell me to just pay it and shut up. They were the rudest place I have ever dealt with
. So i paid them and asked if the account wa now paid off they said yes so I told them to close the account and they said they cant close the account and to bad. They wont do anything. If I recieve another bill from thee thieves I will sue their a**es off.
This Preferred Homecare company is the sole source provider for medical oxygen equipment and supplies for Mercy Care Advantage HMO in Phoenix Arizona and has totally failed to adequately provide myself and others safe, properly working oxygen equipment and properly working portable oxygen tanks for an Invacare Oxygen Homefil System and has failed to replace four small portable oxygen tanks and several equally defective Homefill Oxygen System and has continued to lie, ignore,delay and deny the problem,since August 2015 even after over 30 or more telephone complaints and has thus dangerously endangered the life,safety,health and wellbeing of a 77 year old disabled senior citizen and who requires safe 24/7 oxygen to stay alive. And this same Preferred Homecare is also being aided and abetted by Mercy Care Advantage HMO of Phoenix Arizona that employs Preferred Homecare as it's sole source Medical Oxygen Equipment and small portable oxygen tanks as well....Both Preferred Homecare and Mercy Care Advantage HMO also even try to illegally hide behind the HIPPA Laws and claim that they cannot talk about this matter with the newsmedia that we also have ask to investigate and help us to resolve this dangerous and even potentially fatal matter....Therefore we must advise everyone in need of 24/7 medical oxygen equipment to not use Preferred Homecare or Mercy Care Advantage HMO Plan!
