I work for a hotel PPES has been pretending to book with for a while.
This is the typical scenario: Dr. Porter (is she really a doctor?...) requests a contract involving renting a bunch of conference rooms and never bring a deposit. She either does not return our calls at all or is always "in the hospital" and her assistant "will take care of the deposit payment tomorrow". Since she was claiming to be "in the hospital" we were not very strict and gave her plenty of time to come up with the deposit, refusing other business for the dates she wanted and, essentially, loosing revenue. All of our staff is now updated on what she is doing, and her account in our booking system is flagged with "DO NOT REBOOK" note.
Phyllis Ewing Ann Porter is not only scamming vendors and sponsors, she is doing the same to her Independent Contractors. She tells them she is going to pay, uses her health as a setback once the event gets closer, cancels, fires her CEO, Angela Oden or Robin Bussard, only to put some other poor unsuspecting victims in their place. She uses the new face and name to book hotels, as well as her new employees bank account information to set up deposit. Beware! She also pays them with checks from Tommy Porter 's checking account from Chase Bank, which a legal agency has a hold on funds. So, bogus checks, no payment.

COWARD
Any coward can write an anonymous review. This is the type of retaliation that I receive daily for being a WHISTLEBLOWER.
No one in their right mind would believe any of these accusations. A person would be in jail if they were stealing money from
vendors or anyone else.
The lawsuits filed against PPES are for services or products that Chicago Public Schools (CPS) did not pay for. Those damages
are included in the lawsuit that Plaintiffs PPES & Phyllis Porter filed against CPS. It's sad that this company would allow people
to post information without verifying facts.
PPES has worked with over 450 Chicago Public Schools since 1999 and has an impeccable reputation. I will chalk this up as another
form of retaliation. Anyone who is interested in my side of the story and the truth may contact me via Phone, Text or email and I will
