Posillico, Inc. Reviews

  • May 22, 2018

While an employee at Blue Water Environmental and J.D. Posillico between 2001 and 2004 under Michael Posillico's management I was subjected to Michael's personal issues that pre-existed between him and his expanded Family at J.D. Posillico. In particular the very respectful and late Joe Jr. Posillico allegedly did not approve of Michael Posillico's behavior in both personal life and business life. As I served a Project Manager/Engineer's role preparing and submitting $7-15M per year in detailed mechanical groundwater treatment system bids, managed $600-2M of projects per year, trained field crew in mechanical piping, systems and process logic control sensor's installations, and reached 80-100% profit margins on several projects, Joe Jr.'s acknowledgment and respect angered Michael Posillico. Instead of receiving well earned project bonuses Michael Posillico threatened my position a few times while giving me ultimatums to move my office/workspace to smaller and more degrading/limiting space. After the second time in my first 2-years of Michael's odd-behavior I made it clear to him that he get's one last chance to threaten me before I leave.

Unfortunately, Joe Jr. passed early during Christmas of 2003 leaving a builder's community at a loss having gained the respect of every level of builders, engineers, and politicians given his vast contributions over decades to Long Island's roadway, wastewater and groundwater infrastruture. By this time I already knew working for Michael Posillico will only become less and less tolerable and was planning development projects of my own in Brevard County, Florida. By April/May of 2004 within 2-weeks of submitting my notice and my first development project acquired and ready to plan on 2-acres for multifamily townhome-style units, Michael Posillico's behavior turned absolutely vindictive.

With an office layout that had an executive suite for Michael's Father Mario, and Joe Jr.'s now empty office with a common executive assistant, Michael Posillico believed it was justifiable to demand Joe Jr.'s office for himself instead of Paul Posillico, Joe Jr.'s Son in office/business management. When Michael demanded Joe Jr.'s office, Mario made it clear that he is never to cross that family line. As Paul Posillico moved into Joe Jr.'s office he made the only decision that had me questioning my pre-planned departure and granted me his office in-line with other key-estimators and project managers/engineers at J.D. Posillico. With $8.5M of two Brookhaven National Laboratory bids on my desk that I introduced Michael Posillico to, Michael took his anger out on me that night I moved into Paul Posillico's former office. Michael called and said "you either move back to your old 3x4' deskspace in the takeoff-room or you know where to go". Having introduced Michael Posillico to John Soliman shortly after Michael sought me out from another Environmental Engineer's recommendation, I provided my response letter requesting Michael formally terminate my employment as threatened the following business day. Michael's response to John was that he will not fire me as Michael threatened, but I have to move back to my 3x4' workspace. When I didn't reply, Michael's 2nd response to John was that he will not fire me and I can have Paul Posillico's office anyways. By this time I knew without Joe Jr. at J.D. Posillico, and with Michael exhibiting absolutely no respect for Joe Jr.'s family, all I could do was submit a letter of resignation. That same night Michael threatend my position in Paul's former office, my x-wife Jane Dadjea also called with an ultimatum to accept a $40,000 discounted house buy-out of my former Oyster Bay residence I just completed renovating or "face a year of the most miserable divorce experience possible". So my schedule was opened up to work as a consultant for several weeks before my pre-planned move to Florida, instead of renovating two last bedrooms. What followed my final departure from J.D. Posillico was even more disturbing than my employment experience under Michael Posillico.

J.D. Posillico hired a Management/Pscyhology firm out of Manhattan to evaluate what went wrong. One of their most common questions while interviewing all levels of office-employees was "Why do you think Mark Patrick Soliman left?". By the end of the re-organization process, the comptroller, a 2nd generation employee was suddenly fired as this firm deemed him "unqualified" even though Michael's disturbing behavior trends formed that man into a 'yes' man. And there was a formal project-specific bonus plan implemented after the over $1.5-2M profit I netted on my projects in just 3yrs for Blue Water Environmental/J.D. Posillico was awarded by Michael Posillico's threats and demeaning office moves instead. Another outcome of that firm was that Michael is to no longer manage any employees. Furthermore, MIchael Posillico already was told a year in advance why I left given his three unjustifiable threats of employment. Instead of making any ammends with me, Michael Posillico encouraged John Soliman (who remained at J.D. Posillico for over a decade afterwards) to commit investment fraud against me. Afterall, Michael was unjustifiably threatened by my name and had a personal vendetta against me. Both Michael Posillico and family members have ignored my correspondence kindly asking them to make ammends for my employment was to manage bids and projects, not behavior and family issues. Maybe Michael saw it more appropriate to expend reconciliation funds on his continued drinking and drug habits as those stories continued to role-in undesired.

So now I say to the Michael Posillico and his partners Joe III and Joe K.: Is 14yrs enough time to reach your feet, or are you still encouraging John Soliman's investment fraud and former family-terror?
