Plusfour, Inc. Reviews

  • Oct 29, 2019

I would first like to start by saying that PlusFour Inc is an absolutely horrible company. Their practices are unethical and employees are extremely rude. After my experience with them, I decided to do a little research and found that a lot of people have horror stories about this company.

I called today (10/30/19) to discuss a collection that they have placed on my Equifax profile and the woman I spoke to was EXTREMELY rude. She repeatedly cut me off as I tried to speak. They do not care at all about your situation.

They just want the money that you supposedly owe. Companies like this with no morals should be shut down. Now I will give you the timeline and details. In September of 2019 I noticed a collection on my Equifax credit profile from PlusFour, Inc. It’s saying I have an alleged debt from Desert Radiology Solutions in the amount of $233.

I don’t have any debt with Desert Radiology Solutions so I chose to dispute this erroneous collection. I mailed a letter (certified via USPS) on September 16, 2019. It was delivered to the company on September 19 2019 at 1:06 PM. I mailed a 2nd letter (certified USPS) on September 30, 2019.

It was delivered on October 4, 2019 at 12:08 PM. PlusFour responded the first time with some sort of receipt that was made out to a Douglas Jackson. This receipt is no PROOF that this debt is mine. This is not verification. I asked for a document that bears my signature and and also proof that they are authorized to collect this alleged debt. They did not provide either.

They completely ignored my 2nd request for verification. This prompted me to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Better Business Bureau. On September 30th 2019 PlusFour responded to my CFPB complaint by saying "The information previously provided and also included by you is what is provided by the medical provider attesting to the validity of this debt.”

They are referencing the receipt they sent me in the mail that had a Douglas Jackson on it. On October 13th 2019 PlusFour responded to another CFPB complaint I made by saying "We have 22 collection accounts under the name of Douglas Jackson. Please provide us with the account number referenced on your credit report so that we can respond to that account.

Please see attachment.” Mind you, I just filed a complaint without the account information but this time for some reason they need it. Also, there are 21 other Douglas Jacksons in their system. On October 29th 2019 PlusFour responded to another CFPB complaint I made by saying "We have previously validated this debt with you.

The enclosed is not a copy of a receipt. It is the description of the services provided to you that you have not paid for.” Notice that they still have not provided me with a copy of MY signature nor have they shown me proof that they are authorized to collect this alleged debt that I supposedly owe.

On October 30th 2019 PlusFour responded to another CFPB complaint that I made by saying "The information provided by you to us is the same that we have on file for you. If this is not your debt then please provide information proving that this person is not you. If you are a victim of identity theft or fraud there are steps that you can take.

Otherwise based on the information you have provided to us and what we have from the creditor this debt is yours. You account is marked as disputed and will remain so until you are able to resolve it.” This is utterly ridiculous. PlusFour has an alleged debt that I owe and tells me that I have to prove that I owe it instead of them having to prove that it’s mine.

I’ve never been to a doctor’s office or hospital in my life without having to sign something. They have NO SIGNATURE. This company is heavily tarnishing my credit worthiness as I’m in the process of buying a house and they refuse to fix an obvious error that they made.
