Got mine but disappointed

Hi All,

I ordered the same iron and received it in just under a month. However, it isn't quite as easy to use as the videos show. Now I am trying to return it but I am thinking this will be a dead end. Hopefully yours will arrive.

ORDERED ONE TOO, DOESN'T WORK, won't issue return auth.

Bought a curling iron from this company (FBM / Philly Wigs) and the product doesn't work properly (doesn't heat up, turns off). They ship their product from China to the US to a warehouse owned by Mega Lion, Inc. Mega Lion, Inc. is a freight forwarder, so once the pallet of goods is received at their warehouse, they ship individuals products to consumers. They (FBM / Philly Wigs) have DHL pick up the boxes, and take them to USPS for delivery to the consumer. The DHL tracking number is fraudulent but the USPS number is real. They (FBM / Philly Wigs) will not answer their email, they will not issue a return authorization and there is no one in the US to do returns.

The company (FBM / Philly Wigs) that makes the product is based in China. Mega Lion, Inc. (who is a freight forwarder for FBM / Philly Wigs) receives the company's inventory in their warehouse at 5650 Lindbergh Ln. in Bell, CA 90201. Mega Lion, Inc. ships the product to the consumer as follows - first via DHL Express, then to USPS and USPS delivers it to the home. Mega Lion is a legitimate business. They are trying to disassociate with this fraudulent company (FBM /Philly Wigs).

Same here

The exact same thing happened with me. I contested through PayPal, but the case was closed because they refused to reply. I finally received a product that was NOT like the one I ordered AND it doesn't even work!

Ripoff

Received the curling iron but it wasn't what they said it was. I emailed asking for a refund and they asked if I'd agree on a 30% refund. I wrote back and said no, I'd like a full refund ($40) and the address to send it back. Haven't gotten a reply all week.

I got wig 1 month after order of Glazed Hazelnut. What received was 1 color DARK with NO glazed color at all. I got notice email could not go through, phone number did not work and NO store at all! Whole site is a SCAM.

I want to return, but apparently cannot! What can be done to stop them? I already lost my money while they get theirs. Think this is terrible for them to even be allowed to advertise!

What to do?

I'm replying to the above comment about hitting a brick wall. I'm going through something similar with Haus of Soles. Btw, don't buy from them. They advertised on FB too. Ugh.. I've been digging. The company I bought from has a listing of Oregon, however they are in China.. That's the problem..

For you: you need to see where they are listing as their "headquarters", on the Internet.. Get a zip code and search for the nearest Better Business Bureau to see about filing a complaint. Once you do all that, I'd post the info for others so they can file their complaints too and hopefully stop the crooks.. I know it's hard when they don't answer phones, maybe reply to emails spouting nothing.. I guess that's their intent.. Get people tired of dealing with it, they get to keep your money. Sorry! That's what I'm going to do.. Good Luck!!

Company is a SCAM!

I recently purchased a curling iron which was advertised on Facebook (my first mistake). Shipping took a long time and when the product did arrive, it was in a generic box, no return label nothing. I tried the product and it melted! I emailed the company and was offered a 10% refund. I am disputing in through PayPal. The company said if I wanted a refund that I would have to ship the item back to China. When I originally ordered, the company info was listed a US owned company. TOTAL FRAUD. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Scam

I ordered a magic curling iron after seeing an ad on Facebook. I received the item after a couple of weeks even though the tracking number didn’t provide any tracking info. Turns out the item does not work as advertised at all and is just a poor quality straightening iron. Hoping PayPal will refund me since This company won’t even respond to my email.

Curling wand

I was also scammed. I’m going through the same thing with email and tracking number. I was really excited about this curling wand. This sucks. I even watched YouTube videos about it. I thought it was real and checked it out. I just thought different people where selling a similar product. This isn’t right to be able to do this. Facebook sucks for allowing it too. Now there is another wig company trying to suck me in with Facebook adds. Most likely fake too. So unfair!!!

Wig was of poor construction. Was in contact by email for return or refund. Was told return would have to go to china and refund unavail for months because boss was out of the office.

I ordered the wig on 10/24/18 and after several back and forth emails, the response emails from them has stopped.

Feel like this is a scam, ordered from Facebook on October 14th 2018 and have yet to receive the wig I ordered. The email confirming the order stated,We will ship the order within 3-5 business days after receiving your order. It has been over 4 weeks.

I ordered, on line, a designer wig with lace front in platinum blonde. They gave me the order number 53771 and charged $32.00. When you think it is too good to be true it was. The price wasn't so high but when they fraud you it makes you very angry. The wig arrived and it was an ugly color brown. It had an odor to it and the reason it took so long to come is that, it came from China. The return adress is in chinese. Well think of all the woman they shammed. Probably made a killing and went out. They even showed you the inside of their store in Philadelphia to make it believable. The advertisement was on Facebook. If they know anything about this sham, which I doubt, they will get many requests. I would never wear this wig they sent.

I called the number they had given 852-6616-0781 and they said invalid number. The store was gone. Do I need anymore proof. These people who did this are probably wealthy now. Add up all the women who bought from them.

I place an order on October 10, 2018, for a Fifth Anniversary Synthetic Lace Front Hand-Tied wig R30 Golden/Petite. Total price was $33.38 with free shipping.

The order was supposed to be delivered in 3-5 days. I received the order on October 26, 2018, from China. When I opened the package and took out the wig it

was not the wig I purchased.

It was the wrong color, wrong style. Hair was falling out and at the roots, it is a matted mess. I tried to contact them but the only

way was to download the WhatsApp. which I telephoned them and also left a text message for them through that app. Email address is fake also. I would like

to have my money refunded.

Scammed as well

Although I am truly sorry that Rooney has had such a bad experience it sure makes me feel better that I was not the only one!

I ordered in early Feb and and was immediately charged on my CC. I did get an order confirmation stating that the product would be shipped in 3-5 days and that I would get a tracking number when it did (which I never received). After waiting 12 days I put in a dispute with my CC company and I emailed about the iron. I did get a response from the company along with a tracking number. Six days later I received the product. In the mean time I found something else because after 3 weeks of waiting I was done! I opened the box and found a return slip. As per their return policy listed on the internet I filled out the slip and attached a proof of purchase (my emailed confirmation) then put it back in the original shipping package and spent $13.00 on shipping a return. In the meantime my CC company contacted the company and got proof that I had received the package so they recharged my card. When I email the company back about returning the product I was told that I should not have used the return information inside the box but should have called to get a return number and address. Needless to say someone in Bell Garden CA received my package ( I have the tracking number and receipt from USPS) and I'm now out the price of the product and shipping cost. When I emailed the company back again they offered to give me a 15% credit which would amount to about $5.00. I am continuing to go through my CC company to see if I can at least get the charge taken care of. As someone else said lesson learned ordering off Facebook!!

Magic Iron

Horrible product! It is not what they picture on the website, I actually did finally receive a "magic iron" after emailing them many times.

The iron I received did not look like the iron they advertised on their website nor did it even work when I plugged it in and turned on the power button the light did not come on and the plates did not heat up! I wish I had come to this site before instead of after I ordered this garbage!

Philly Wigs Ad - Third & Fourth Party Store Games SCAM

Saw an ad on Facebook Via Philly Wigs for the Curling Iron. It had stated fast delivery within 7 to 10 days. A few days after ordering another company emails me saying it will arrive in a month or two from CHINA. They gave me a fake delivery confirmation number to a fake china mail carrier. Then yet another company was added in the emails... It is just a Big Ole Scam. Have been fighting with paypal for a refund. They are making me wait yet another month to see If I win or loose the case and receive a refund.
