My husband and I sought immigration assistance with the Patrick & Qureshi, PLLC An Immigration & Veteran Law Firm on 9/24/2015. We spoke with Mr. Nasir Qureshi and discussed our needs. He stated that he could assist with filing of requisite immigration forms and said that the total cost for these service is $6,000.00.
Mr. Quresh stated that for a down payment of $3,000.00 he could start the paperwork. The $3,000.00 down payment was paid and receipt No. 370987 for the amount of $3,000.00 was issued on 9/24/2015. To start the paperwork passport photos were required.
We scheduled a second meeting for Friday 9/25/2015 with the Law Firm's receptionist on Thursday 9/24/2015. A appointment was set for 12:00 pm and was rescheduled to 1:00 pm for the same day. On the way to the law firm the receptionist called to inform us that Mr. Qureshi was not going to be able to make the appointment due to an extended stay in court.
A new appointment was made for Tuesday 9/29/2015 for 12:00 pm. On arrival at the office the receptionist again stated that no attorneys were available again.
Since the attoneys did not have the time to meet with us we requested a refund. The receptionist stated that she would request the attorney to call but no calls came. We instead called the firm several times before someone picked up the phone. On discussion with Mr. Qureshi he stated that no appointment were made because the appoinment was not made by him; essentially he is saying that the receptionist cannot make appointments.
Would you please assist with obtaining our refund.
Mr. Quresh stated that for a total payment of $7,000.00 for their services. The $7,000.00 payment was paid and receipt No. 371168 for the amount of $7,000.00 was issued on 9/15/2016. To start the paperwork passport photos were required.
We scheduled a second meeting in which I was informed that the initially process they offered me could not be completed and they offered me a second option which I accepted.
After many failed attempts to communicate with Mr. Nasir and the attoneys did not have the time to meet with us and work in my case we requested a refund. The receptionist stated that she would request the attorney to call but no calls came. We instead called the firm several times before someone picked up the phone and give us and answer. Actually we don't have any answer yet.
Would you please assist with obtaining our refund.
Run do not waist your money with these people. Once they have it you can forget about hearing from them. In fact Quereshi told my husband he was calling too much LOL. Our new lawyer communicates via email same day response. This joker hasn't replied to my email in March 2016. They refused to give us a refund or partial refund, and they refused to give us the "work" they claimed they did. By law I am entitled to that work since I paid the money... Anyone that has a complaint you can file it to the New York state bar under Patrick because Quereshi his not a lawyer. You just need his license number which is easy to get. They really should stop practicing just by the look of their "office" tells it all. My closet is bigger than that place LOL. They are your common CON men. Professional scammers, unprofessional wanna be lawyers.

Six months passed by and i didn't receive a call updating me on the status of my case. I called mr qureshi several times for a month and he couldn't answer any of my question. Finally after six months i got to set up an appointment with him and turns out that they didn't even have the form filled out. So the time of the appointment i spent it helping the secretary filling out the form and mr qureshi was there for not even five minutes. Another two months passed by and i called several times again.He said he couldn't give me and update in my case because he wasn't in the office, another time we was on vacation, another time he had an emergency. I got tired of chasing them around and hired another lawyer. This lawyer did in a month twice the work this patrick and qureshi did in 8 months. So i ask them for a refund and the they said that they couldn't give me a refund because of the "amount" of work they had done in my case and they never file anything to uscis. They never called me to say anything not even a word about my case and all they have is a form that i basically filled out because the girl they have there that day was new and didn't have a clue about what she was doing. Now they want to keep 70% when they probably did 5% on my case.These people are a joke as a law firm. They leave cases collecting dust until you get tired of waiting and hired another lawyer. They have no shame or dignity. They lie to your face.They tell you that they are the "number one "rank on "thumtack" but what they don't tell you is that they ask for your feedback before they start your case. My advice! get away from this people they are a scam they will steal your money. They will make you waste your time and loose your case. The embassy had no recollection of they representing me .Hire someone else even a notary will do a better job than this people. This guy represent himself as a lawyer and he has this other business aside free phone bill, and something about fitness which i assume doesn't give him time to do his law firm stuff because he uses the same phone number for all those things.
Paid over couple hundred dollars just for a one hour consultation and they never did anything with our immigration case. Nasir wanted to charge an extra $6,000 to continue with the case, you gotta be kidding me when he didn't do jack! Nasir guy is a scam artist. You can sense this guy really don't care. He is very unethical. Waste of time and money! Please do stay away from the bottom of our hearts. Sincerely and genuinely avoid Nasir who's not even a real attorney!
