Pacific Nissan Reviews

In March 2016 I applied for the Uber Xchange Lease Program. Xchange checked my credit and I was approved. I was given a list of local dealerships in my area to choose from. I chose Pacific Nissan. I was told all I had to do is make an appointment with the Uber rep at the dealership, with $250 cash or cashiers check, I went to the dealership and spoke with the "Uber" dealer. while in the office filling out the paper work for what I thought was for the lease I was already approved for, another person came into the office, started asking who I worked for, how much money I make, etc... I asked why they needed to know this information and if they were running my credit for some reason, I got no answer.

A few minutes later another person comes in the office and has paperwork for me to look over to sign. It gave me 3 choices for the amount of money to put down on the car, I saw they did have the $250 listed and I told them, that I was told to bring $250 with me and I just picked the car, and should be on my way, he seemed confused. I then handed to give them the $250.

Next the first guy comes back in the room and asks me if I know what is going on. I said yes, I am there to sign up for my Uber Xchange lease and get my car, he tells me that I have 2 choices, either pay the large amount for the lease or pay less amount to purchase the car. I told them I was there for the Uber Xchange lease I had already been approved for, and again asked if my credit was being run by them. I was asked if that was a problem, I said yes, I didn't give anyone permission to run my credit, no one asked or told me it was going to be done, and I had no intent to purchase a car that day. I was then told not to worry about it and that we would be done with the paper work soon.

After 6 hours being at the dealership, I finally get to go home with my car I leased. The next day I started to receive multiple alerts that my credit score had changed, it was at that time that I noticed that Pacific Nissan did indeed run my credit. and my credit score dropped by 16 points.

I called and emailed Pacific Nissan about what they had done and got no response, When I did get a responce I was told there was nothing they could do, and to contact the Credit Agencies They contacted and the buero's and tell them what had happend.

I sent "official" Certified letters to all agencies and have started receiving letters back that I need to contact the dealership about this.

All I want is for Pacific Nissan to clear this matter up. I never requested to have my credit run by Pacific Nissan, if after the Lease I wanted to purchase a car I wouldn't be able to, due to my credit being run multiple times, and those checks stay on my record for 2 years. this has just become one giant circle with no solution or admitiance of fault.

Purchased the car on 0ct 22nd with security plus & maintenance plus warranty program (with option to cancel). I then called on the 26th requesting to cancel both warranty program. Financier Mike said that he will cancel them both and that it could take 4-8 weeks. I called back on Jan to see if they canceled the program... Mike the financier said yes then found out that Nissan consumer affairs did not receive any cancelation request. I decided to be proactive and worked with Nissan consumer affair to complete the proper paperwork to get the security plus canceled and refunded with no help from Nissan dealership, car I bought it from.

But they could not do anything about the maintance plus, that warranty program was through the pacific nissan dealership. I then made time to talk with mike at Nissan to have the maintance plus canceled and refunded became an issue. All of a sudden now he can't do anything about it and that I needed to talk to his manager. It is non refundable. Problem is ... He was suppose to cancel both of my warrenty and did nothing for 3 months and I had to find out that nothing was done and had to contact and complete the cancelation request which he should've done 3 months ago and now he tells me its nonrefundable. I then called in to talk to his manager the next day. The manager emailed me the cancelation form but found out that it wasn't the correct form.

Then when I stopped back in to see the manager again... They made me wait over hour & half... Could not wait any longer so I left my contact number to reach when the manager is available. No call back even leaving several voicemail. I have never been treated this poorly as a customer. Why would I even want to have the dealership to mainance my car when they treat me like dirt. So I'm assuming they will not cancel my maintaince plus and I will not be refunded $1,150.00. As a customer I feel like I've been ignored and lied to. I feel like I got scammed. I will be writing a complaint to BBB, attorney general and consumer affairs. Thank you for your time.
