I moved out of my apartment providing sufficient notice. I made attempts to contact my landlady about getting my deposit back. Bellevue City government got involved and mediation meetings were set but, Pacific Living Properties blew off this meeting, twice. Not only did they keep my deposit, they sent the remaining balance to collections. They've charged me for making renovations to the apartment.
I never had a walk through and moved into a place which wasn't entirely clean. The landlady forged my signature on the walk through paperwork and then, left the company.
I decided to move out because I was getting harassed by some tweens staying at a halfway house.When I informed the landlady that these kids have been in the garage on 3 occasions, she delivered me a year-long lease agreement. I could either leave or sign the new agreement.
I found out my deposit wasn't going to be returned by the collection agency. At first, I was getting daily calls then, the calls stopped and I figured they took the matter out of collections while the issue was in mitigation with the City of Bellevue, WA mitigation team. I was wrong. The charge is still on my credit score.
