My first impression was this company is running a scam, then I read the reviews here and my feeling is reinforced, THIS COMPANY IS CRIMINALLY CORRUPT. The parking garage in Portland Oregon where I received my ticket gave EVERYONE a ticket in "Lot 121". The payment machine was not working, this is a common theme in these complaints, and there was NO ATTENDANT present, except that the light was on in the little booth and someone clearly was present to hand out $49 tickets by the handful. It was Sunday, June 3 2018, and there were very few cars parked in the lot (I guess local Portlanders are hip to this scam!) and the gate was up (how welcoming). I can definitely see the profit motive behind ticketing everyone instead of running an honest business.
I read that because this is a private company, payment of the fine is optional.
I have dutifully sent my complaint to the company but have heard no response. I think refusing payment is the best approach, since they are using fear and intimidation to force people to pay a huge fine for falling into their trap, and their action is legally indefensible.

The attendant issuing tickets there was hiding out of sight, but the light was on in the toll booth.
The ticket was issued to me minutes after I walked away from my car, at 3:19pm, I arrived at 3:10.
They hide until people have left their cars, knowing full well that the machine is “out of order” and issue tickets when they walk away.
The parking machine at Union Station was not working November 4th. Everyone was angry and getting late for their train. I sent a message to Union Station that day. Pacific Audit Solutions gave out tickets anyway without checking the equipment. SCAM
My wife's daughter who is 30 started a new job in downtown Portland. There was no parking for the business. Parking fees would eat up her wages. On a Sunday, she thought the sign said free parking. It was my car, but she was the driver. I received a notice from Pacific that I owed $44.00 for a ticket. I am a serior, never have driven to downtown. Dauther tried to reach them by phone, no luck. I sent a check, didn't want it on my record. I received another notice. Called their 800 number. Yes, they did not have the check and to avoid penalty put it on a credit card. Oh by the way, there is another ticket for $83.00. I talked with the daughter again, it is her responsibility. Sent a not and another check. Now it is January and I received a collection notice. How can this company loose two checks? Why not contact me before sending it to collection?After reading the ohter complaints, I believe this is bordering on fraud. No recourse for an honest citizen?
Paid my fine and Pacific Audit Solutions refused to mail me a receipt. Company then hung up on me. Called back, spoke to a supervisor who also refused to mail me a receipt. If you take a payment from someone it's a pretty basic business practice to provide a receipt.
