Sincd I was just recently widowed, Lori induced me saying she would match me with widowers like myself, even gave me the names of two widowers to match me with that never materialized. It was all nonsense. She never did. Their website of available men was limited, mostly divorced or no longer members. Guess they figured out Orlando Singles was a ripoff. Lori is manipulative. She told me I was a princess,(gag) did everything she could to get my credit card, touted the fact they did background checks. I don't know if that's true. No evidence this was actually done. They allegedly did a background on me which I paid for and when I asked for the check, she refused and would not give me a copy. Bottom line, Lori took advantage of me, a recently widowed senior for gain to the tune of $3,200. Taking advantage of seniors in Florida should be illegal. This company takes advantage of people. Even employees of this company on corroborate they are crooks taking advantage of clients and are deceptive for gain which should be illegal I this State.
I filed a complaint with the State of Florida and to my amazement Attorney General Pam Bondi responded she had no jurisdiction over this company who does business in the State of Florida. There are many references on the Internet where Great Expectations aka Orlando Singles aka Real Orlando Singles was sued by the State of Florida and paid damages to victims. Orlando Singles and all there aks's should refund money to their victims for deceptive business practices and also should be put out of business For deceive business practices They work on commission and lie for gain. I am not the only victim. There are many. This fraudulent company has many victims and ripe for a good law firm to file a class action Lawsuit. I have more evidence to provide and will be happy to assist in putting this business out of business.
This "dating service" does not qualify for even one star. I joined 2.5 years ago for a 3 year membership. Worst decision I have ever made. Went to one "event" which consisted of 40 women and 2 men (I am a woman). Everyone at the event was complaining about Orlando Singles - understandably - and I have not attended an event since. I haven't had a single date, and I am an attractive, professional, fit female. This company preys on the lonely, the vulnerable, the elderly. BEWARE!
This company charged my credit card almost $4000. I tried calling them to get my money back several times with no answer. I wasn’t even able to leave a voicemail. When I finally got someone on the phone the director said I could not get a refund because I only had 3 days to cancel. I told her I tried calling several times before three days and I couldn’t even leave a message. She argued with me and said I could leave a message when I clearly couldn’t other wise I would’ve. I am not using their services. I want my money back.
They saw me coming - a 60+ woman, lied to me about their services, their name, their business practices, their commitment to customers, constantly delayed services or said if I wanted to participate, I had to travel 40 miles to participate in Celenbration or Mt. Dora. They lied about their services, their clients, their own name, their reputation, their background. They can't keep staff at all. Only the owner/manager is still there since I joined. Everything I see online about how unscrupulous they are (formerly Great Expectations) is true. When I signed up, they promised to hold events in Winter Park/Maitland/Altamonte area. That's why I signed up - to be close to home & to be matched with like-minded people.
The company lied to me every step of the way and kept my $2500.00. I got nothing. The service person/owner kept telling me 'these things take time.'After they got my money, they said 'we know you are Jewish, but we serve Christians.' They were very reluctant after that. They kept stalling, the only 'date' they arranged was with a gentleman who was deaf (wearing implanted hearing devices) and he was treated for brain cancer. He told me they use him to take dates out. In other words, he's a shill. I have begged them for a refund, I have played their 'games' of requesting 'suggestions' - nothing works. They scammed me and I want my money back and compensation for lost weekends and time wasted with them.
I want a refund for the fees they charged me - almost $2500.00, and I want a refund for the time and effort I put into this service for almost 1 year. I spent at least 1 hour per week. I am looking for a refund of the cost of my hours. I gave up weekend trips to see family only to have the club cancel events over and over. If I sue them, I will sue for pain and suffering for $50,000.00.

At every event there are more women than men (their facebook photos prove that..maybe great for the men) but the age balance is rediculous. New members are always very senior men...great if that's what you're looking for. Be carfeful before producing your credit card....leave it home and think about it over night. NOT WORTH THE MONEY once they have it you're on your own...they DON'T give you the personal service they or the website claims....until they get your money... personal match making coach ...all a bunch of money hounds to coach/charm you out of your money and THERE is no record check...they only check to see if your card clears the payment. Lori Dejesus, Director of Orlando Singles, violates the "Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act". They take your personal information, including credit card numbers, driver's license number and do a credit check to see how much you are worth. They charge $5,500 for their fraudulent matchmaking service. Then Lori Dejesus, bullies you by stating " aren't you worth the investment?" They state they have hundreds of like minded people in their dating pool, which is another LIE! They hardly have any members at all. They have changed their name so many times because of numerous complaints from agencies like BBB and other online consumer reports like "ripeoffreport.com", as well as Orange County Consumer Fraud Protection Unit and the Florida Attorney General's Law Suit Case # 24901118 which addressed this unlawful practice. These people are crooks and need to be locked up!! Anyone who wishes to form a class action law suit, I am ready! I am sure there are many people who have gotten ripped off by Orlando Singles and they need to be held accountable for their fraudulent scams!!!!

This company offers nothing to the dating services they promised in their sales pitch. I signed up in September 2015 and to date I have had 0 contacts/ possiblities of a date or meeting. When I signed up they sold me a bill of goods, that they were Christian based, screened their canidates and worked very hard to find good matches to meet your criteria, what a joke. I was offered 3 canidates when I initially signed up, none that even came close to my desired criteria in a possible match, none of whom even were still active in their service? I paid alot of money to join a 12 month program over $2500 which did not even include access to their website, that was an additional charge and I only found that out after I had joined. They pitched the fact that they had 3 activities a month to get members together and indicated that they had lots of attendance. I call before every event to check on attendance which is usually very poor, many of the activies had to be postponed or cancelled due to low attendance. The activities I have attended have been interesting to say the least, 95% have been poorer quality then I was promised, socially inept, and the experience has been so uncomfortable I could not wait to leave. This company preys on the emotions of people not wanting to use on line services and the fact it is tough to meet the right canidates. The promise alot and deliver very little. I have not had one phone call since joining to see how I was doing and if there was anything they could do to help or counsel on, again that was part of their sales pitch, that they would help you through this and give guidance and cousel.....not sure their counselors even are educated to do this even though they said they do. All I can do is warn potential new candiates to steer away from all the promises that this company professes to offer. I really do believe they victomize their members by offering a service that they really cannot provide. Orlando Real Singles is just another Rip Off in the dating services world!!!!!!!
