I was just a customer yesterday. Save your time and money. Do NOT work with JD Jarvis or On Q Property Management. Their lack of empathy and professionalism is incredibly poor, and I will do everything in my power to inform/protect as many people as I can to this fact. My wife and I just had a baby 4 days ago which came 3-weeks early, and we needed to move out by the end of this month.
We were the first people to reach out to this company regarding a house that just surfaced on the market, before it was even available to see... Our Agent verified we were the first people to call, and the first to fill out an application. After my application was complete JD asked if my wife could also fill out an application (I expressed she just had a baby 4 days ago and was still recovering, plus the photos of the house were many years old), so I asked if we could see the house first and he said yes.
That day we went to see the house (which looked worse than the pictures) and we saw an older couple go in right after us. Then we did my wife's application after already being first in line, and they (admittedly) gave the house away to the people after us. I said this was not a very stand up thing to do, and requested our applications be refunded.
JD Jarvis admitted they did nothing with me or my wife's application, but would only return 50%...what a scam! JD Jarvis ignored our Real Estate Agent's emails and calls that morning, and made my wife and 4 day old baby drive down to a house and fill out an application for no reason. Don't expect integrity with these people.
I don't trust people or companies who operate like this, and you are risking your time and money by engaging with this short and rude representative. Zero apologies were given, zero empathy for my wife, definitely no congratulations, just cold-hearted humans who will take your money, drag you through the mud, be rude along the way, and give a house away you did everything you could to move into with your family, no matter your efforts or your legal place in line.
