I ordered a sample of the weight loss program including Garcinia Cambogia with the Premium Cleanse. The trail package was for $4.00 and some change not including shipping. The company Nutrafit then charged my account (debit) $86.94 without autherization. When i tried to contact the company the phone just went to an onhold recordinging. They never answered !

I ordered Garcinia Cambogia for a trail. I also recieved Premium cleanse which I didnt care for. When I spoke to the represenitive to cancel my order BEFORE THE DEADLINE she asked why. I told her I could get the Garcinia Cambogia cheaper at a store . So she offered me the Garcinia Cambogia for $42 instead of the $84. I agreed to that. Then I recieved two bottles in the mail of the Garcinia Cambogia AND the cleansing. I just got my bill and they charged me $84 for the GC, PLUS $77 for the cleansing which I never ordered. I then called when I got my bill and they would only refund me $21 and $19. This company is a ripoff and I dont know who the lady was I spoke to but I am stuck paying for this product. I am on social security and cannot afford this and these people are not to be trusted ever. Do yourself a favor and do not ever order from this company

This company is a fraudulent business. They offered Garcinia Cambogia for $4.00 dollars a bottle and as soon as I entered my credit card information..poof! I could not see the web page anymore. I did not have a receipt or order confirmation. I was not sure if the transaction had been completed or done...then I get a charge in my credit card for, NPF*NUTRAPLUSFIT $88.63 and for JFG*MAXGARCINIAEXTRAC-$89.27. I called the credit card and they told me the charges were made by this company Nutra Fit, aka New Life Health health Labs.I Called Garcinia people and they told me that I accepted a membership that they never offer. I never was aware that they were selling something beside the $4.00 dollars pills they never made it clear...their website shut after my credit card info was entered..I want my money back because I did not ask or accepted a membership from these people. when I called these people the lady who didn't speck very good English appeared to have a very hard to understand. when I was trying to explain to her what the problem was she just went on to telling me I paid for a member ship.

We ordered Garcinia Cambogia from this Company because they offerred a 14 day free trial. The company did not disclose that the 14 days start when you order. It takes 14 to 21 days to receive the product. By the time you receive the product, the trial offer has expired. The company then charges the customer for the full price of the drugs. They will not accept opened containers of drugs. The customer knows none of this information......including the company name, or "policy" until you see the charge on your credit card statement. Then you must search for it on the computer to get the name, address, and phone number of their "customer service." They do immediately cancel you, but insist that the current charges are valid. I believe this company is not following good business practice and no one should buy the medication from them. It is doubtful that any pharmacy is involved.

1. NutraFit LLC makes false claims about what its product can do. Under the 1990 Nutrition Labeling and Education Act, the 1994 Dietary Supplemental Health and Education Act and the 1997 Food and Drug Administration Modernization Act, this can be considered "misbranding" which is against the law.

2. NutraFit LLC uses deceptive advertising on the Internet which is prohibited by the Federal Trade Commission Act which states (in part and summarized here) that an omission is deceptive if it is likely to mislead consumers and affects consumers' behavior or decision about the product. Specifically, it is illegal for the retailer to make disclosures (i.e., the fact that you are siging up for a "subscription" plan if you buy the product initially offered at a reduced price) hard to find, tough to understand, obscured by other elements in the ad or buried in unrelated details.

3. My experience is not an isolated case as evidenced by other reports of these deceptive practices by others.

4. NutraFit accused me of the following: "both stealing the product and attempting to attain a refund for a product that has either already arrived or is still on its way" unless it was returned properly with an RMA; that I "acted against their Terms and Conditions by not attempting to contact NutraFit before informing my credit card company of the fraudulent charges"; and that 'NO' attempt was made by me to contact them. This statement is not true because I did call them as soon as I realized these charges were put on my credit card.

5. As one of the other consumers noted, there is hardly sufficient time to go through NutraFit LLC's process for returing the product and getting a full refund under their "arbitrary" rules that are set up in such a way that makes it impossible for a consumer to comply with. This is also a reason why they are breaking the law under the FTC (see #2 above).

6. When I proposed a reasonable solution to the "misunderstanding" (on my part of what the offer consisted of), they summarily rejected it (which was to send back the four bottles I had received already) because it was a chargeback to the credit card company and that my "case" was now with their legal department.

7. In discussion with my credit card company, I was informed that this was not the first incident with NutraFit LLC, and that they had many similar complaints. They (my credit card company) also reassured me that their accusatory language (see #4 above) was common.

8. On June 17, 2014, Mary Koelbel Engle, Associate Director, Division of Advertising Practices, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Federal Trade Commission, testified in Washington, DC, before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation Subcommittee on Consumer Protection on "Protecting Consumers From False and Decdptive Advertising of Weight-Loss Products" about these false and misleading practices by the weight loss industry in the US. An FTC survey done in 2011 summariazes their findings and is available at http://www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/reports/consumer-fraud-united-states-2011-third-ftc-survey/130419fraudsurvey_0.pdf

9. It is important to report NutraFit to the Federal Trace Commission at www.ftc.gov, thelstate Attorney General and to report NutraFit on line to the Center for Food Safety and Nutrition at the Food and Drug Administration online at www.fda.gov, especially since in their resource for consumers titled "Beware of Products Promising Miracle Weight Loss", they specifically mention as an example of tainted products Garcinia cambogia since some of these products also contain hidden active ingredients contained in prescription drugs. Furthermore, the FDA's "Guidance for Industry: Substantiation for Dietary Supplement Claims Made Under Section 403(r)(6) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act", in footnote #3, states that "the misleading nature of a claim made unclear under section 403(r)(6) that is not substantiated cannot be cured by a disclaimer stating that the claim lacks support. (See http://cfsan.fda.gov/guidance.html )

Garcinia Scam

I was looking at the site but did not process the order. Now I see that I was charged shipping 14 days ago, have not received any product and cannot contact anyone at the contact number. I'll keep trying.

RIPPED OFF by Nutrafit, LLC of Pendleton, IN. 888-328-1884

I ordered a 14 day trial supply of Garcinia Cambogia pure extract. I was charged $4.95 for the shipping.

I tried it and did not like it. 14 days later I happened to be doing online banking and noticed a charge come

through for $86.94 on my account. I called the company to find out what this charge was for. I talked to a

foreign lady, my guess is Polynesian or something close. Very rude and kept trying to tell me I did not cancel

my account with-in 14 days so I was charged. I told her that even if thats true, today is the 14th day and I am

cancelling my account and want my money returned to me immediately. She told me okay my account was

now cancelled and I would not be billed any further charges. I asked when my refund would be returned to

me. She replied I was getting a refund, because the charges are legal and legit. I told her they are not legit

and I would just call my bank and dispute the charges. My bank is going to contact them and formally go after

this company. I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK, and I will be getting the last laugh!
