My elderly dad and I went to purchase a vehicle from NOT SO NEW LLC...in Dec.2016.
We paid THREE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED & NINETY FIVE U.S.currency DOLLARS for a 2008 Chevy Impala, that has since we purchased it,has been in the shop, more than in our driveway...Because we have NOT had possession of the car due to an electrical issue, we have NOT been able to register the vehicle..Basically NOT SO NEW LLC, KNEW the extent of the problem wth the vehicle, yet gladly TOOK our money anyway...an almost FOUR THOUSAND DOLLAR LESSON from, supposedly a reputable (yeah right) dealership..DONT EVER, NEVER PURCHASE ANY THING FROM NOT SO NEW LLC, not a scooter, not a skateboard, not a cup of water, not even the candy out of the machine, let alone a VEHICLE that you would be expecting to drive...they swindled and bamboozled us with a smile..
I bought a 2002 Ford Taurus from Not so new auto a few weeks ago for my 17 yr old son. I have already had to replace the power steering pump, high pressure line and now the rack and pinion needs to be replaced. The power steering fluid was low when we bought it. That should have raised a flag. As soon as I added the fluid it spews from the car every time you turn the car off and gets all over the engine. I understand buying a used car may have some issues but I believe the law should be changed so that the issues are disclosed. At least warn people of the issues and let us choose to deal with them. I could see if I had the car for at least 6 months but I have only had it a few weeks and have if that time it has been under repair.
