Robert Giles took a $9,000 downpayment to build a porch. He never returned to build the porch during the contract time and has failed to provide us with a refund.
Giles wrote us a contract valid for just over two months agreeing to build us a screeded porch on the back of our house. After much prompting, He (Giles) did have a slab/foundation installed but wrote a bad check to the concrete company for the material. The concrete company then threatened to put a lein on our house! Robert Giles did eventually pay the concrete company perhaps after being threatened by the District Attorney's office.
Acknowledging there is value in the concrete estimated by the concrete company at $2500, a $6,500 refund is due us.
Robert Giles continues to make false promises, and lies about rerurning the money. He has done the same thing to others that was documented on his Facebook site which he has taken down. He has been reported to this website as well for the same activity in Colorado under Nationwide Building and Remodeling.
