I am disabled and want to give back to my community by starting a 501c 3. When I contacted this company I told them I did not have an employees I was trying to recruite volunteers for my non profit. and I was just getting start and was still trying to figure out what I needed. Instead, of help me they helped themselves by locking my into a 48 month contract and not mentioning once I entered the contract I was waving my right to cancel in 30 days.

Even though I told the sales rep of my shoes string budget I was working with was based off of my disability check, but once I got volunteers I wanted a secure way to have them to work from home and to protect my donors information. The sales rep also failed to tell me that to get out of the contract I had to pay almost $3k.

Now, my disability check is only $500 a month. If he had mentioned any of the real details of what he was getting me into I would have to told him no thanks without a second thought! then when it came to signing the contract he claimed he had to leave the office and would not be back until after the special offer time was up and he had to process it quickly.... making rush and not read through everything thinking I can just read it later.

Before the 30 days was up I contacted them online to cancel, because no only had I not used their service, but I never got any volunteers and could do everything using my cell phone. Then all the fine print in the contract started getting spouted at me! Even after I informed them I never used their service and could send the phones back which were still in the box and that I owed them nothing.

They still took money from my bank account. I closed the card I had given them and they tell my bank it's a recurring charge to still pull from my account. so I had to get that straight with the bank to get my money back. Please do not use this company! They know they are crooks and they use every trick in the book to get your money! Save yourself the headache. They deserve a 0 rating!!!!

I signed up for their Nextiva efax "trial" which stated it was $13.95 per month for 1,000 pages per month. After signing up I was never able to log into the faxing portal at all. So effectively I was never able to use the service and I never even sent a single fax, but Nextiva charged me almost $190 USD for a service that never even worked at all!

Then less than 2 weeks later into a one month trial, I get an email notice from them stating that my service will renew in the amount of almost $190 USD.

So I promotely follow the link on that same email to log in to the account portal in attempt to cancel. First it wouldn't let me remove my credit card on file, only option was to add a new card. Then I don't see anyplace that allows me to cancel the service (which never even worked at all for me) and the only part in the entire console /page that had a "cancel" button simply did not work, it didn't cancel and didn't do anything at all when I clicked on it. So I clicked "continue" button right beside it believing it might take me to the next page in order to continue the cancelation, however it immediately charged me for the full amount instantly!

This was without my consent, and they charged me upfront for the entire year even though the service never worked and even though my intent was to actually cancel the trial!

To make matters worse, after I confirmed with my bank that I was indeed instantly charged the entire amount of $190 USD, I will STILL unable to log into the Nextiva faxing portal (even though I'm 100% sure I used the correct valid username and password combination and I tripled checked and tried many times etc) so I was locked out of a service that I was tricked into paying an entire year upfront for.... and then as a last resort and to rule it out being some kind of credentials issue I even tried to reset my password again, however the Nextiva password recovery functionality on their site itself was also broken and it would simply state that "unknown error" or something else to that effect.

I have been a client of nextiva of scottsdale, arizona since january 14, 2021, and they were good in the beginning and then let's say the s*** hit the fan.

My account executive, brad heininger, we had a telephone conversation on february 23, 2022, and i requested my account to be changed by removing people and phone numbers, plus they had the main number incorrect, and i told them that when we first started. It was never changed.

May 18, 2022 Today), i talked to 5 people - the first group of people i was on the phone with 1 hour, 33 minutes and 28 seconds, nothing was done. Before getting hung-up on a person name chris and he gave me his direct # 602.491.2182, he would send me his information via email and no email has been received and it has been 1 hour, 5 minutes and 6 seconds. When he hung-up i called back and was on the phone with him he said he could do everything but by then i already figured it out and did it myself.

Then, i told him i needed to speak with a supervisor, and he put on katie smith - her title was customer care rep, not a supervisor. I told her the same thing of the other 5 people and her being #6, and all the bs she only wanted to give $50.00 - i told her flat out - $50.00 does not cover my time of their screwup.

Before hanging up with katie, i told her i was reporting them to the better business bureau and the scamion. I feel that their customer service is in the toilet. Totaling no professionalism, no customer service, and no comment sense and lastly, i told her that if my company did not have a 3-year contact that we would be gone and their invoices they take right out of our checking account as ach's and their invoices and not the same amount even though we have a contact.

Just beware if you choose this company.

Nextiva mislead me, making hallow offers and false promises in order to get me to sign up. After I discovered their true behavior, I canceled immediately. They have refused to acknowledge their mismanagement. Choose a different service provider.

We changed our VOIP phone and fax service provider to Nextiva when they quoted us what appeared to be a great deal. ALthough we had trouble from the start we persevered and got things sort of worked out after a couple of months. Our 1st invoice showed fees of all kinds that weren't on our previous provider's or on Verizon's invoices. In addition, I noticed that the sales tax seemed very high. I thought they were taxing the fees they were adding. No, they provided some lame excuse about even more fees being part of sales tax, which is in direct violation of NYS law. They refused to yield from taxing us at over 10% (our tax rate should be 8.625%). We complained that they added over 40% in fees and taxes to our previously agreed to price. AGain, we gave Nextiva the opportunity to correct this, but they refused.

What's more, they were going to provide us with two phones for free and no contract. Just month to month. Later that week, they called to advise we could get 2 free phones IF we signed a 2 year agreement. AS we needed at least 3 phones and 4 would make things easier, we took them up on it. Only to find out that they only shipped two phones and that the 2 year areement for 2 phones was the same exact deal we were given without having to sign a contract. I think they enticed us with a bogus offer to get us to sign a lengthy agreement where we got nothing out of the deal. The added a line and gave us one more free phone. For an additional $25 per month of course. Nevertheless, we figured in the long run it wouldn't matter because we didn't plan on switching again.

Well, so much for that thought. When we shoed Nextive comparable invoices from two other VOIP vendors we used, they refused to reduce eithe r the taxes which are illegal, or the excessive (and in some cases redundant) fees added on. As stated, these fees amount to over 40% of our total invoice, with our invoice much higher than we were originally quoted.

We already filed a claim with the NYS Public Service commission. Next is NYS department of taxation and then the federal public service commission and the FCC. I find it hard to imagine that this company has not yet been served with a class action sut or fined heavily for willfully overcharging sales tax and defrauding the public.

DO NOT USE NEXTIVA. Don't get fooled or believe their lies. We will be switching providers and I fully expect to be sued for "breaking" the contract they already broke on day one.

A huge nightmare from start to finish. Started using the service about three months ago. As of today, it is still not working properly and we are having problems cancelling. I am not going to write everything that has happened because it would take way to long.

We have a few different business phone lines. As of today, they are all going to one number instead of the designated business. No solution has worked yet and we have lost business due to the phone situation. This does not even calculate the man hours that have been involved trying to get it working properly.

This company has blamed everyone except themselves. I cannot express how difficult and disappointing this situation has become. Lost revenue, many lost hours on the speaker phone either on hold or trying to get someone to fix it.

Please get everything in writing before commiting to them and beware that if you rely on phones for your business, this company will not fix it if it is broken.....
