National Collector's Mint, Inc. Reviews

  • May 29, 2018

On December 27th of last year I purchased 50 "fine" or better Morgan Silver Dollars. Three of them had red and or green paint or whatever on them and seven were in less than fine condition. The instructions for returning items ask that you call 1-800-452-4381, for a return authorization number. This I did four times during January giving them a weak or so to contact me.

The first of February I called one of the numbers for the sales department and spoke with a live person. He said he has never heard of this occurring before and would make sure someone called me back, but no one did.

At this point I do not trust National Collector's Mint Inc. at all and would not return the the defective items for fear they would not follow through with a proper refund or exchange. So beware, if you plan to purchase any items from them, its AS IS WITH NO RETURNS EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS!

NCM National Consumer Marketing Islip New York

Saw an ad in the Parade Magazine and assumed it was safe to order from NCM/American Historic Society. It was not. My credit card has been over charged, did not receive coins and there is no good number to contact this firm. You just get a busy signal. Shame on Parade Magazine for accepting ads from these scammers! Mdm naples, Florida

I received my newspaper that included those coupons and some ads to order different products...that's when I saw a FREE Cowgirl Ring I really wanted. I thought too good to be true...right? I continued to read the fine print and all it states is that you pay P&H. I should have stopped there. I called the 800 number in the ad and placed the order using my bank card to have it drafted from my bank account. The customer service rep insisted on sending me other items to look at for FREE and return if I decided not to keep them. If I decided to keep them they would bill me just $39.99 plus P&H. This sounded okay and accepted. A few days later I received the FREE jewelry to look at and returned all of it prioroty mail which cost me, but I wanted to be sure it was returned. Before I knew it there were $39.99 charges for each piece of jewelry and $6.99 P&H charges for each piece as well. I called customer service to speak to the billing department which did not exist and that's when all the red flags went up. They insisted that we would receive credit within 2 to 3 billing cycles, except the $6.99 P&H charges. I called and called and received the same runaround. I finally contacted my bank and cancelled my card. This has been going on since July and still no credits on my account. Just today I called the number to follow up and you guessed it...none of the customer service numbers are in service...and furthermore the website is down. I hope this means they are not in business or lack thereof anymore. I really like the Cowgirl Ring...I better after all it's cost me. Teresa San Antonio, Texas
