Signed up for health insurance that was in comparrison to blue cross and added benefits of dental and vision discount cards.

Knew it was only at 70% comprehension but wasnt sure at the time if all were like that since i had been on husband's insurance until he retired last year. Signed in on the membership website and thought all was good until i checked to see if my vision doctor was included. I went on aarp's site just to compare prices and it was there i saw your ad on rip off insurance companies and liberty was at the top of the page. I called the numbers on back of card and was disconnected every time after 3 minutes and 10 seconds. Went immediately to my credit card company and reported it as fraud and dispute charges for upcoming month. Tried other numbers and no answer. Website was diverted to message board evbery time. Address shows something else located there. If it had not been for watch dogs like i would have been hurt money wise and have wasted time trying to get things right. Will always check with this source from now on.

In November, of 2017, I spoke to James at 1-844-897-1810, ext. 710, an agent. I specfically asked him to look up my doctor and the 3 prescriptions I take to make sure they were covered - one RX is $1700/month without insurance. I used to have Blue Shield and it was covered by them but my rates were going up so I was shopping for a new policy. He told me the co-pay on this medication would be $50. He broke down my monthly charges as $189.95 for medical, $28.97 for prescriptions, $34.97 for dental and $46.93 for wellness. When I tried to have the $1700 prescription filled today, 2/1/18, I was told it was not covered; I was expecting the $50 co-pay. When I called the 1-877-684-0032 number on my membership card for help, they referred me to Perennial Care who then told me to try a third party service called "Prescription Hope" who helps cover prescriptions. Why should I turn to a third party for RX coverage? What am I paying for? I never would have signed up for this plan if they did not specifically cover the medication I asked them about and was told was covered! We spent 90 minutes going through questions while signing up for the plan and I was VERY CLEAR about needing my doctor to be in their plan and my prescriptions were covered. This plan is basically catastrophic coverage.

I am beyond LIVID with them - I could have stuck with Blue Shield if I had known that UCA/Perennial Care/CHUBB would not cover my medication. This coverage is practically useless to me without prescription coverage. I would have happily paid Blue Shield more per month and still had my RX coverage - something I was told would be covered!

I CALLED LOOKING FOR AN INSURANCE QUOTE FOR MY HUSBAND BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE AND NEEDED TO GET AN ANNUAL PHYSICAL THE AGENT THAT I SPOKE TO TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD BUY THE ENDEMNITY PPO PLAN AND THAT MY HUSBAND WOULD BE COVERED FROM THE PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR VISITS TO THE LABS,EMERGENCY SERVICES,XRAYS,EVERYTHING WITH THIS PLAN .

WELL BECAUSE MY HUSBAND HADN'T SEEN A DOCTOR IN SEVERAL YEARS WE DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH THIS PARTICULAR PLAN JUST IN CASE HE HAD SOMETHING THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. WELL WE GOT HIS CARD IN THE MAIL IT STATED "THIS IS NOT MEDICAL INSURANCE" I CALLED THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND WANTED THE POLICY EXPLAINED TO ME WELL THE BROKER STATED THAT NONE OF THE FIRST PART OF THE POLICY PERTAINED TO MY HUSBAND BECAUSE HE HAD THE PPO ENDEMNITY PLAN AND THAT WE WOULD HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT HE ASSURED ME OF THIS.

BUT EVERY VISIT TO HIS PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR HAVE TO BE PAID, ALL THE LABS HE HAD DONE HE HAS TO PAY AND THEY GAVE HIM AN OPTION TO PURCHASE DENTAL INSURANCE WITH FULL COVERAGE AND HE DID BUT NOW WE CANT GET A HOLD OF ANYONE AND THEY ARE STILL TAKING THE MONEY OUT OF HIS ACCOUNT FOR 39.00 A MONTH AND WE CANT EVEN COUNCIL IT BECAUSE WE DONT EVEN KNOW THE NAME OF THE DENTAL INSURACE COMPANY.

WE HAVE CANCELLED THE HEALTH INSURANCE AND I HAVE GOTTEN INTO SEVERAL ARGUEMENTS WITH THESE PEOPLE OVER THE PHONE BUT THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY HUSBAND HIS MONEY OR EVEN PAY FOR THE BILLS THAT WE ARE GETTING. THIS IS A SCAM AND THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO COURT AND PAY ALL OF THE PEOPLE FOR MISREPRESENTING THAT THEY ARE AN HEALTH INSURANCE AND RIP PEOPLE OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY MY HUSBAND GETS UP EVERY MORNING AND GOES AND WORKS HIS a*s OFF FOR SOME CON ARTIST TO POSE AS A HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY AND TAKE HIS HARD EARNED MONEY IF THERE IS ANY WAY THAT THESE PEOPLE CAN BE PROSECUTED I WANT TO BECONTACTED AND SIT IN THE COURT ROOM WHEN THEY GET PROSECUTEDI

I forgot to continue the California Cover Health plan in Dec 2017, then I kept getting numerous calls from this center to sell me affordable care Ins. They said that we will pay %70 of the visits if I go to their doctors in their providers list. So, I did. I called every doctor in their list. Not only their office staff had no knowledge, even if they did, they never released the fee structure. I ended up just paying it myself and bypass the headaches. This company is a total scam and I can not beleive that the Gov't allows these practices. UCA,Perrenial etc... is not an Insurance company. I have notified my Amex to block them from charging my card as well as requested to get my money back to the last pennies. Then today, I see alot of complain and scam victims on the internet. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANY INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY.

This company should not be allowed to do business. They are licenced in CA but they are crooks. They misrepresents themselves as being health insurance when they aren't. Their doctor referals are bogus because the doctors are not taking any new patients and say they don't take the plan. Perennial says in fine print that they are not obligated to keep their website up to date. They will not tell you or send information about what your coverage and benefits are. When I called the California Department of Insurance they said to call the Association of Health Underwriters 800 322 5934 and meet with an local agent in order to find a good insurance company. Also, I suggest that you don't respond to solitations on the internet or in your email. The general public needs to be aware of these ripoff. A family member of mine has lost several hundred dollars to this company with nothing to show for it.

Needed health insurance for my husband. Went online and found a number American Health Advisors. Spoke with an agent about it and he told me all that the plan covered. I permitted a payment of $327.84 to be debited from my checking account. It included a one time only enrollment fee of $89.95. Received the info and ID cards in the mail and discovered this is not medical insurance!! It's a scam !! You must pay for any services and get discounts. I am so disgusted!! Thus is plain robbery if innocent people who need health insurance. I will try to get a refund. If I can't can I get help to get a refund????

This supplemental insurance is a rip off. None of the 6 doctors I contacted listed as being in the plan on their website accepted this insurance. They actually didn't even know what a supplemental plan was. Not.one.doctor. Do not buy this. I wish I could get all my money back.

The rep's name was Danny Schoenberg, he told me from the get go, THIS IS HEALTH INSURANCE. His # is 844-263-8685 X-677. I was supposed to get a membership packet in the mail 7 days after I enrolled, NEVER RECEIVED IT. I was billed for $277. 997 for the "health insurance part" then $41.97 for dental and $39.97 for prescriptions. I was supposed to go in for an injection in my back on 8/22 but when the Dr's office called for the Health insurance card info, I gave to her, she said was NOT in their system. She transferred me to billing, the procedure was to cost over $4,000. The insurance was to cover only $75 of that, twice a year. THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR S***.

total scam

Sales rep claimed this policy is comparable to my United Healthcare Cobra plan I had with my employer. This covers IN PATIENT only! They do not cover office visits! Total misrepresentation of the benefits.

This company claim to be real Health Care at a reasonable price and after being very detailed in exactly what I'm looking for for Medical Care Health Care Hospital care surgeries Etc they claim yes it covers all that I even have a screenshot showing that they claim they cover it on my phone but then when you actually try to use it all it is is a healthcare discount plan and nobody accepts it it has not helped me at all I have it for less than 10 days and they will not refund it now that I've cancelled

I spoke with the "representative" asking questions and making decisions for over an hour.... one month later, I had an emergency and I found out it does not cover outpatient surgery. So, I told them my doc would admit me to do the procedure, but it would not cover it then because it was not considered an emergecy after I had already planned outpatient.

On top of that, the money was not supposed to be taken out of my account until the 21st, and they took it out on the 16th of the month! Don't fall for this scam!

I am left with 25.000,00 dollars worth of bills, It took forever to find doctor and when i did things were not covered tried to cancel this ins, twice still trying, so rude i paid into it for year when it came time to cover anything they did not do much, now im stuck trying to pay bills???? terrible they have no problem taking your monthly payment, avoid at all cost i wish i would have,

I was supposed to get my insurance card 5-7 days after I first signed up. It took me about 4 or 5 calls after that after being told every time that they have sent it in the mail and one electronically. I confirmed my address was correct everytime and 4 months later I got it. EVERY single medical professional I have talked with has never heard of this insurance. And they dont even cover my sons checkups or vaccinations. Only sick visits. And apparently my account isn't active even though I paid on time every time.
