I have had 2 bad experiences with this company. The first one I was recruited for a study for a sister company of theirs (or so they said) here locally but when I arrived for the study they had no record of me. No pay, no return call.

I was contacted in early July about a Pepperidge Farm bread study. I made several videos, had them uploaded, spent time on the phone both with the organizer and with the client. I was promised $200 for the study but have not received my payment and have tried contacting the company several times. Nobody ever returns my call.

Do not do business with Murray Hill National. They called and solicited me to participate in an internet focus group study and was supposed to pay $200 for 45 minutes of my time. I turned them down and they continued to call and agreed to increase payment to $250. Of course, this was all bogus. I rearranged my day to take the time to participate in the internet "study". It has now been 6 weeks and I have not received payment nor do I get a retrun phone call or email.

They are BOGUS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You have been warned!

I completed a phone from this research company and was offered $75 for a phone interview about acne. I later completed the interview. I was told I would receive a check in the mail in 6-8 weeks. It has now been between 12-15 weeks. I emailed Susan Owens at the end of October. She asked the study name and amount owed. I thought that was strange because you would think that information is still in their computers. I responded and was then asked if I accepted PayPal. I gave her two emails to utilize and never heard back. I emailed again a week later saying I would be reporting them and still no response.

When I asked about payment for Focus Study I did on Refrigerators AFTER I did a TWO Week food diary COMPLETE with 54 pictures and detailed description of TWO WEEKS DIARY OF FOOD ITEMS in my refrigerator.

I was emailed:

"Thank you for completing the study, we pay out these studies 4-6 weeks to the close of the study. When I receive confirmation from the client that the study is closed, I will send out an email to everyone who completed the study that you may start your clocks. I will also let you know if there are any medical studies that you may qualify for. Have a beautiful day! Thank you"

I was contacted on the LinkedIN site and asked to do a research webcam interview about the opioid crisis in WV. I was told (in writing) I would be paid by check or paypall $200 for a 45 minute interview. Also later in a telephone conversation with the representative, Jennifer Seward, I was told I would receive an additional $50 for each person I recommended to complete the survey also.

I did provide one more that completed the survey. I was told due to the Christmas holiday, it would take a at least 7-10 days for payment to arrive. Finally on 1/7/2020, I received an email from "20/20 Panel" with a $25 gift card for participation in the survey. I immediately begin to try to contact Ms. Seward, but as of yet, she has not responded to any calls, messages or emails.

Eventually I googled Murrayhillnational and found multiple scam reports from 2014 through 2016. Now was the scam on the part of Murrayhillnational or 20/20 Panel, or both? I have no idea. Either way, anyone contacted by them, you have been warned.

On two occaisions I was recruited to attend Focus Groups arranged by Murray Hill National. The first Focus Group took palce about 18 month prior to the 2nd FG. The first FG we were recruited and to be paid $150.00 for a NINJA BLENDER FG held in Needham, MA. Upon completing the session we we then told your check would be mailed to you. After three weeks I returned to the facility to inquire about the money due to me. I was given contact information to MHN. After contacting them they said they would mail out to me the check. No check so the following 9 weeks I continued to call them until I was finally paid.

Recently (12/8/2016) I was schedulled to participate in another FG on "Hot Spots". The amount of the compensation was $100.00 + Validated Parking. When I arrived at the downtown Boston location, (having parked in the garage instructed to me by a prior phone call to the facility) there was quite a commotion taking place by the prior FG members who had just learned they would not be compensated for parking! Parking in this area ranges from $22.00 to $30.00.

Before my group began I confirnmed with the favilty that I would be compensated for parking and they said NO, even after I showed them the confirmation from MHN which specifically indicated VALIDATED PARKING. I left prior to the session as to minimze my parking costs. While leaving, the Group narrator followed me out to the elevators asking me to stay. I showed the comfirmation email and told her to pay for my parking; $22.00. She refused and I left.

The following morning (12/9/2016) I contacted MHN, specifically SUSAN OWENS who claims to be a principle at MHN. She agreed to send me reimbursement for my parking, and went onto say " She runs a reputable firm!".

Well, I'm here to say she doen't! I still have not received compensation for my parking expense.

This organization is blantantly dishonest and unprofessional. As per my research on the compaints against MHN I can see this is a customary and usual way they do business.
