Don't give them your credit card number!

This company is a complete joke or a scam, I still can't figure out how they still exist! Run from these crooks. They promise you the world and deliver nothing. Endless unanswered emails and never heard from them on the phone again after they got my Credit card number. ---This is their scam.>>>> All communications to the entire company go through ONE email account. Imagine running a company using 1 email address for your entire staff! You never know who is going to answer if you do get a response. Then when you want to cancel the service (or lack there of) Suddenly Jason the supervisor says I have to buy out my two year contract that I never saw or signed. In my last email to Jason I asked him to show me this contract. Guess what, No response for weeks and they still charged my credit card. This is a staff of complete liars and cowards hiding behind corporate runaround. How about a phone call Jason? You have my number both my phone and my Credit card.

Working with mopro has been the absolute worst business decision we have ever made at our medical practice. I am the director of business development for a vascular surgery medical practice in san jose ca and my experience using mopro has been absolutely abysmal. The company simply is unable to, or unwilling to deliver against the technical and or customer service commitments that they make. Put simply, this kind of company needs to be shut down because their inability to deliver what they promise really hurts the customers trying to do business with them.

Front line customer service agents are simply unable to address customer needs...Promises are made, assurances given and mopro simply does not perform. Here are my specific complaints.

1. Website performance: its absolutely abysmal: if customers are interested in driving new traffic to their websites in the hopes of increasing their business, buyers beware. Be forewarned...Our company website bounces off between 85 and 100 percent of all new traffic trying to reach the site and mopro just can't fix the problem. This means customers trying to reach our site just can't get to it. We have been working closely with google adwords and google analytics in an effort to solve this problem but the work needing to be done by mopro doesn't get done; their agents have an incredibly arrogant sense of themselves and claim to be experts but, they simply can not fix the problem with their own code.

2. Technical problem resolution: the company has no idea what they are doing and tells you the problem is with you even though they are the only ones who can impact the code written into your website: when you ask to have a problem escalated, jason tells you he is the top of the chain...But the work doesn't get done. People come across nice, but nothing ever gets resolved. Front line reps are unable to track trouble tickets: this results in them fanning the flames of ignorance and incompetence. They tell you something without any regard to whats been done, what's in progress and what's broken. Some even to make changes without any regard to how what they are doing impacts what is already in process...Worse yet, they keep you in the dark and are terrible communicators. Don't be fooled by the little gauge at the bottom of the site that asks for comments...It doesn't get responded to when you ask to speak with management.

3. Horrific customer service: classic response from their management team:

Response from the owner: in the last week

Hi michael, we're very concerned by your experience and understand your frustration. We've alerted our customer service manager and he will be in touch immediately to resolve this. Thank you.

Guess what...No one gets back to you. Just read the reviews on the google my business display add to see exactly what i mean.

4. Arrogance: its rampant at mopro and everyone there pretends to be the best in the business. Working with google, i had google's implementation team rewrite a simple code for mopro to insert into our website. Mopro decided to change up the code on their own and in doing this, not only did the new code written specifically for our site fail to work, mopro tried telling me that the changes they made didn't negatively impact the site. Analytics from googles tracking site, clearly disproved this, however, and when i called for additional help, they simply stopped addressing my concerns.

5. Responsiveness: this just doesn't happen: i have sent countless numbers of emails to mopro, across all branches of management and nothing gets responded to...Everyday that passes by, i continue to lose more customers as they just can not get to my site.

6. Apathy: it's in everything they do. Google's analytics team and i asked for mopro to move our tracking code from the footer of our website into the header of our website to more accurately track customer traffic. Mopro could just not do this simple task correctly. They told me that the old google analytics asynchronous code they removed from the footer somehow just magically reappeared after it was removed and that they could not do anything about it. Not only did they mess up this simple operation, they added two separate ua numbers which conflicted with one another causing the site to underperform.

Bottom line: stay away from mopro. Bottom line. Mopro sites look nice, but simply do not work. Stay away from this company if you want yours to prosper.

Don't be fooled by high pressure sales people making hollow promises. Read the reviews on google plus before you do anything with this company...They are significantly more detailed as well as filled with tales of technical incompetence and business practices bordering on criminal.

Mopro is a really terrible company. Don't fall prey to their promises or to their games.

MOPRO SCAM ALERT

After being promised a Great Website, I had nothing but stress from these people not living up to what they had promised. And after trying to cancel them, I got a letter saying that I am liable to pay them even though serves were not rendered. I would love any legal advise if possible? My email is [email protected]

Here is my letter below:

Hi,

We’re writing to confirm we’ve received your cancellation request. However, since you are in a 1 year contract with us, we cannot process your cancellation at this time.

Your request serves as advanced notice to cancel your account at the end of your contract. Please consider this email a receipt for your future cancellation. No further action is required. Please note, you are responsible for all remaining fees for the duration of your contract.

We are still more than willing to work with you and your website and ready to offer the following: A complete redesign to our latest platform, Free 1 year subscription to our Social 365 Tool (This costs $99/month on our regular price) and your account would be assigned to a Senior Digital Account Specialist to ensure that we provide you a dedicated Project Manager for your account. I am looking forward to hearing your feedback about this.

If you change your mind and would like to continue working with us, please let us know before the end of your contract. If you have further questions, please reply to this email or call 844-207-9038.

Thank you,

Angela Laserna

Scam scam and more scams.

Geez. I wish I was writing something original...unfortunately, my experience is the same with Mopro. Didn't even know I was getting charged. I think their customer service is run by ex-Enron employees. They do not give a damn about anything other than bilking customers from services they didn't even provide, nor had any idea that they opted in. Do not give them your credit card info. They will charge you, and you may not even know about it. You will get zero contracts, zero receipts, emails regarding charges, ect.

Don't get me started on the service they provide. They basically didn't do anything. Literally nothing. They just cut and pasted from our existing website.

If I were to go through all the bad experiences I would be on this page forever. Just look up their reviews on Google, Yelp and even BBB. These guys are pure scam artists.

Mopro lures you in with a beautiful sample site promised within 24 hours. Mine took slightly longer but i purchased. Then I saw other sites and they were all alike. I decided to cancel but they promised me a few month so relented. Yet my site wasn't live as promised. They NEVER completed or published my site. But they took money from my account multiple times, never issued refund then stole my actual site that I DEVELOPED from Wix and now my business has NO published site. Bank of America is next on my hitlist because they denied my claim based on bogus papers from Mopro (not even electronically signed) and didn't even get ALL the proof I had. As soon as this is solved I'm closing that account

MoPro is a total rip-off! They took my money, promised me that my site would be up in 24hrs. The tech guy they assigned to me never responded to my emails, calls. Nothing. I have called several times to talk to Carey Levine, the CEO, and he is always not available. I had a call with Scott Ashworth the customer service manager. He said he would return my $600. Nothing! I have called every week since November. I have talked with another lady named Christine. She promised she would have someone call me within the hour. NOTHING! They are a total scam. Go to: glassdoor.com/Reviews/Mopro-Reviews-E641675.htm and read the employee complaints. Stay away from them. There are plenty of great reputable web designers. MoPro is not one of them.

Sales team that will take your cc number . charge it and will never send you any agreement (joe ) . A rep that will promise multiple a dead lines, , and than will lie that they had to run to a doctor and multiple other 2nd grader excuses with a mix of horrible attitude and "too cool for school " patronizing tone over the phone (Andrea) . and their supervisor that will ignore your calls of massages. AVOID !!!! At all cost

Mopro is a complete rip off. I paid for a web design that they never built. I had to call numerous times for a refund. Finally they said they would honor a refund but I would have to file a dispute because their system is not able to do refunds. Now this is coming from a company that say they have state of the art technology. Do yourself a favor and shop else where.

I hired MoPro after I was pitched at a Keller Williams Luxury Properties conference last year and signed the contract 6 months ago. The product that I received was not what I was sold. The website has taken over six months to build because the team is not able to follow instructions. It is impossible to get ahead with the unbelievable amount of mistakes that are made during the build process so we are stuck in a constant cycle of changes. We have had issues with both customer service and the platform itself, they include:

- Most of the changes we send over come back not done, or done incorrectly.

- Elements that were previously fine are inexplicably messed up.

- I was told that we would be able to make our own changes to site, this is not true. We can only make the most simple of copy changes on SOME pages.

- We are not able to publish our own property listings, only upload pictures and then notify MoPro to publish them.

- We have complained MULTIPLE times about our issues, 4 months ago we were told we would get a refund for the months we have not had a site. We never saw the refund.

- After telling them we wanted to terminate and get our money back we were told the billing department would contact us. No one has and we have contacted them multiple times more.

They have taken the site down that was in construction and we still have no response from them. MoPro has taken my money, delivered no product, and have not responded to any communications. I would caution anyone against using MoPro.

This company delivered no services after charging $150/month for 6 months.

  • Oct 23, 2017

HORRIBLE, hair-pulling experience

There is NOTHING they do correctly.

Staff is TOTALLY INCOMPETENT. They just shuffle you from 'expert' to 'expert'--yet things STILL do not get done.

Three or four calls to have even a small change made. Their "AI Editor" has ZERO power and there's very little you can do on your own.

Their site doesn't allow for International sales either.

WORST business decision I've EVER made was to sign on with MoPro :( :(

Highly Disappointed

Had they cancelled my contract without attempting to continue to collect payments I probably would not have posted this. But they continued to take two more payments after cancellation, per contract. After the hell I went through getting them to understand clear and precise instructions in english, I assumed they would completely cancel the contract. I'm one of those extremely organized individuals. I practically created the website myself, sent them my photos to use. Their job should have been easy. No matter how many telephonic meetings we had nothing was being done. There were countless errors and typos. I had to edit the site so many times. Common sense things a professional site developer should never do (grammar errors, space issues, missing products, no checkout cart). They delayed payments because it took two months for my team to finally follow directions. A supervisor had to take over after I told them to get it right or I'm canceling. And they had the audacity to take two more payments after I canceled, because of the contract. Did the contract say your developers would be incompetent? Who can I charge for the two extra months of stress and delay I endured dealing with this company?

False advertising! This company promised to deliver a functional eCommerce website. Unfortunately thier designer team can't figure out. They are merely good for couple of weeks after that your on your own. I was promised to have a dedicated designer and concierge. Hahaha! No one even responded to my emails. I Needed them to sync my inventory from a marketplace to my web. NO one knows how to do that. Instead, they ask me to email them every time I sell an item, WHAt??? Who else does that? So, if I sell an item somewhere else other than my website I have to email them which takes 72 hours before my inventory gets updated! Unfortunately, It's has been 3 weeks since my last email and still haven't heard anything. Mopro lies they just want your money! NEVER sign a contract with those fools!

I don't want to be too lengthy here because mopro has already wasted hours of my time. I completely agree with the other outscam for this company. Mopro is incompetent and blames every problem on you, the customer. I agreed to use their service for seo help and a better online storefront...The shopping cart never worked, not for one customer. I spoke with multiple "experts" and no one fixed it. They said i would need to consult a third-party for help. Then what am i paying you $150/month for? They refused to refund my money. Cancelling was also a nightmare. That "team" was conveniently out sick when i needed them. They only finally let me cancel when my credit card fraud department called them.

Their AI editor would change my site after I made changes. I added a page or edited a page; would come back and find it was different. I was told there was no problem with their software after I had reported the problem several times. My files didnt work on my site. I reported it to a digital concierge. They did not fix it. I asked for a supervisor. He said their IT team was not responding to emails. I had just made a new online product and it was not working. Anyone who came to my site would find these files not working so I could not send people to my site. Before I knew about this, I was running Adwords and wondering why no one was downloading the files. Now I know.

I had to repeatedly explain the problem to one person after another. The manager said he put in a request for a credit. After a week, no word on the credit. My mp3s were still not working. For a while there were 404 errors. The digital concierge said, "That's very strange." Two days later they had not been fixed. Finally I had to practically yell at a supervisor to get it fixed. At the beginning of the month I had spent hours making new pages. I would save them and then find those hours were wasted as I had to spend hours changing the changes that their AI editor had made and sometimes hours on the phone getting things "fixed". I have never had such terrible service. I have no idea how much in potential revenue I lost from their incompetence.

They come on strong with slick sales pitch, and computer generated video preview of your potential website.

Salesman explains that preview of website is only computer generated, but if you sign up you will get professional website built by experts in this field.

BUT.. after they have your money..

You get appointment with your designer to view your new website. WHAT.. it's the same crappy computer generated one! They want YOU to ask them to make any changes through your "designer" on the phone.. BUT you are limited to a couple hours phone time max. I am not a designer, so how the heck am I supposed to build this site? I would have been better off using a DIY site myself vs trying to coach them while they are using a DIY site.. Hey, great time to also let me know they have a no refund policy.

Bad news.. I am fighting for refund now.

Here's my email journey so far:

  • Dec 13, 2016

What a joke. They sing a good tune but provide NOTHING. Weeks go by and no response. Impossible to set up an appointment with my "mopro pro". They fall back on the 30 day cancellation policy...which explains why they never set up an appointment to review...just extends the 30 day period. Then you have to jump through hoops to cancel. Save your $ and avoid these crooks.

  • Nov 8, 2016

Not at all as advertized!

Mopro is not worth the money they charge. their system is nowhere near as fully featured as many other cheaper options lacking even basic features like "unpublish" in the blog, the ability to export anything, or easy resizing of a blog image. If you're an international (non US) business DON'T BOTHER as many of the additional features wont work for you. Think you wont have to do anything yourself? Think again! you'll likely spend a lot of time babysitting changes and additions (unless you never plan or changing your website once complete) and you'll likely get a site that still looks like it came from a template (because it is... that how they do things so quickly). If you're considering Mopro, go for a different option. save your money and your sanity.

As others have said I should have read these reviews first. Their site looks amazing, their pitch is just as good, but their delivery of services is horrendous.

When I talked to them I made it clear what I wanted to accomplish with the new site. I even spent days typing up descriptions of what I was looking for, gave them Photoshop files with high-resolution and editable graphics, and even provided text for every page.

A few days later they asked me if I could provide them with scaled graphics and video. Basically they wanted me to create all of the graphical content for them. I politely explained all of that was in the Photoshop files.

A few days later I was told it was time to review the site. It looked like someone created it in Word. They didn't follow what I outlined for them, it was sloppy and horribly formatted. They didn't follow any of my instructions and basically converted the old site off Shopify and made it look even worse. Everyone I showed it to gasped and said it looked really bad.

I immediately called the account rep and complained, was told they would put someone else on it and a new designer would be in touch, and it would get corrected right away. He even admitted it looked like crap.

A week later their still was no response so I wrote them and told them to cancel the service. After arguing with me and saying it looked good enough, they agree to cancel it only after I got extremely blunt about how I felt. But here is the kicker, they still charged me the $150, then told me their policy was they needed 30 days notice so they charged me another $150 even though they never published the site. So unless you cancel the day you sign up your actually on the hook for $300.

When I wrote them about this I offered a compromise that I would eat the original $150, but the other should be refunded back as they didn't do the work, nor was it published. Their response was "Per our terms and conditions Mopro has a no refund and required 30-day cancellation policy on our month-to-month subscriptions. Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue a refund at this time. - Karla C."

This company is not driven by customer service other than the sales team. It's a shame. So Mopo if you read this, you should ask yourself do you really want to be known as just another company with poor customer service, or the company that makes things right? Make it right, and I will gladly update this review.

Pressured into a sale. Stated they verbally made a no refund policy in which we did not even speak on my account accept to purchase. Called same day to let them know i didnt want to use the service because a new site could offer something more affordable. They would not issue me a refund at all

  • Sep 30, 2016

Where do I begin?! First off they will try to convince you to chose their services versus anyone else. The website says $199/month includes updates, blah, blah, blah. To earn your business they lower the price to $149/month. They briefly go over what they could provide: send you links to their other works: ( cleanmateusa.com/home, s4worldwide.com/home, c3technology.services/home) and lord and behold, when they take your payment they hook you in - thank you and hang up. No receipt confirmation for your payment. No contract or email outlining what was promised. Their promise to provide you with a website within 48-hours is absurd. They take your website if you have one and your company name and pull information off someone else website and they use their contact information, etc. I was promised a call which I allocated a 3-hour window for as per the sales rep and no one ever called me back. I immediately knew this company was going to be an issue. I submitted a request for a full refund. They called back to convince me to work with them and they will make it right even going as far as giving me next month FREE. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and trust in them. A week went by and minor changes were made to a template (cookie cutter) and no response when I will call. I finally exhausted my time and effort and so I submitted another request for a refund. A female rep, who they call concierge service rep, called trying to convince me and I apologized. If you ask me these are a bunch of young college kids (Conner Lantz,Tee T., Tyson McKensie, Thuong Nguyen, Rachel Blataric, Melissa B.). All these contact people to show how serious I was in cancelling my service. Here is a quick run down on the entire process:

Contacted MoPro via website and provided our contact information. July 27th.

Received a phone call from sales rep, promising everything from the moon and back. Was promised a phone call next day 3-hours July 28th.

Waited for payment confirmation (nothing)

Submitted email requesting refund. Got confirmation July 29th. I’m writing to confirm that I’ve placed your cancellation request with our Client Care team. I’m sorry to see you part ways with us and I wish you all the best.

For reference, your ticket number...Our Client Care team will be in touch within 5 business days. This ticket will act as a receipt for your 30-day cancellation notice.

Received phone call as to reason for cancelling. Was convinced to stay with them Aug 1st. Per our conversation, we will be issuing you 1 month credit to get your site back on track. I have Tyson assigned to your account and you guys are set to speak tomorrow at 12pm PST / 3pm EST. He is one our top dogs here and I'm sure he will be able to get you the site you have envisioned.

Received call from Tyson making promised on top of the chart web design. However time went on and basic program coding, php pages, colors could not be done. They use a template, little modification, drop images. Aug 2nd

Submitted a 2nd refund request due to lack of time being spent on my website, no changes, and time was ticking. Aug 9th. I've received yoru request for cancellation and wanted to see if there's anything we can do to help. We've matched the design closer to the direction that you're looking for, but it's not fully dialed in.

I submitted a direct request again to their reply to refund the full amount charged back to my credit card. Aug 10th.

Received a response from a LaunchSpecialist Supervisor: I am glad we got to touch base today, per our conversation I will now submit a ticket for cancellation to our client care team.

Received follow-up Aug 11th: I’m writing to confirm that I’ve placed your cancellation request with our Client Care team. I’m sorry to see you part ways with us and I wish you all the best.

For reference, your ticket number is: Our Client Care team will be in touch within 5 business days. This ticket will act as a receipt for your 30-day cancellation notice.

Received another email: This is Melissa from Mopro’s Client Care team. I am writing to confirm that I have received your request to cancel your services. Please accept this email as confirmation of your cancellation.

We’re sorry to see you go and wish you the best!

Submitted an email because we didn't receive any refund and it's been a week. I do apologize for any miscommunication. We do have a no refund policy at Mopro which is clearly stated in the terms and conditions that is agreed on at the point of sale. You were issued a billing credit towards your account for September which means you were not not billed in September while we continued to work with you on your site. As a courtesy, we have already waived any further charges and termination fees but no refund will be issued. Please accept this email as confirmation that your account has been closed in full.

I really don't have the time and patience to be writing this but I thought I'll do so as to not have the same thing done to someone else as what was done to me.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Company

Just like many other people I was promised a professional customized site tof fit my target audience. The rep sold me on convenience, professionalism and "The death of DIY site" Far from it! So frustrated and angry not only did it took almost 2 weeks get it up and running it was SO generic they cut and paste from my yelp page information was all wrong the social media was horrible! I have sent them numerous email they promised to do the revisions and correct information over weekend. Come Monday morning the few revisions done where wrong!!! Urg..so mad!! I sent emails and voiced my frustration and want to just cancel site and want a refund since they did not follow through what they promised. But after reading all the bad reviews I wonder if I will get my refund. I will cancel my credit card! DONOT USE MOPRO!!

  • Aug 9, 2016

Worst website option ever

MoPro offers to "design a website" for you in 24-48 hours, but they don't design anything - they just slap your logo and phone number on a template. And the template looks nothing like what they advertise. Then they claim to handle the site for you, but their customer service is completely unprofessional. They just don't seem to care. It's unbelievable.

If you want to do it all yourself with a template that actually looks good, SquareSpace is the way to go. If you want someone else to design and manage the website for you, then go with SetMySite. Whatever you do, just avoid MoPro at all costs - they're an absolute rip off.

  • Jul 27, 2016

DO NOT USE MOPRO......VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

I was talking with a MOPRO specialist named DERRICK ADRIAN and had explained to him that I had one more month to go with another marketing company that I was using and if I wasn't happy with them, I would give MOPRO a shot. Long story short, when I didn't want to commit and pay a $150 right then, Derrick said, "it doesn't look like we are going to come to an agreement" and hung up in my face.

Pieces of Sh**!

These guys totally screwed up my website!!! They got me a first draft, which I didn't like so I put together a list of changes, which they didn't get to. Contact form wasn't working, pages were wrong, stock pics were horrible...it went on and on! They never (and still haven't) made the changes I asked them for and its been MONTHS! Worse yet, they absolutely DESTROYED my organic SEO, where I was #1 for YEARS. My site literally disappeared. I sent them a nasty email expressing my utter disappointment yesterday and told them that since they have not fixed my site that they should refund my monies and let me out of my "contract" that I never signed. An hour later my site has a 404 message. NO EFFING SITE AT ALL!!! I am so pissed off!!! I went from #1 to completely gone in four months! DO NOT BUY INTO THEIR CRAP! They WILL screw you over!!! I haven't even started trying to get my money back. By the looks of it, I'll have to cancel my credit card!
