MiniTool Partition Wizard Reviews

  • Jul 17, 2021

I purchased the partition wizard software form this company on october 15, 2018 and have used the software regularly to alter partitions and maintain disk integrity on my desktop computer since it's purchase, i have complied with the terms of the license, used it only on this one computer. Approximately 6 months ago i rebuilt my computer, changing out several components at which point i needed to contact the company to have them re-authoize the use of the license, that was expected and reasonable.

The problem arises when the company releases an update. I am then required to re-enter the license number, even for minor updates. But that's not such a big deal, i've kept the email when they sent me the key. This becomes an issue once there have been x number And i have no idea) of activations on this one computer i am then forced to send them an email and request that they again re-enable the key to the software.

This time, and the last time as well they've asked for some sort of information and told me to use something i can't find to get them the information they want. Now certainly i can see that i may look like someone who is attempting to steal the use of their software, i get it... But if they'd fix the software so that i didn't have to relicense it every time they update it then we wouldn't have this problem. I've complained about it for nearly three years. The software works and makes things a bit easier, but it's not worth the headache of having to send multiple emails, find something they want Again) over and over.

I"m exhausted by this and it could be so easy... So now, here's my scamion... I gave em $59 bucks for what they call a lifetime upgrade service, no place did they say "lifetime upgrade requires willingness to tolerate pain in the a*s". I've asked politely, been reasonable and if it was just a simple email i'd quit bitchin, but i don't have time to go back and forth over and over this each time they issue an update or improvement. I didn't volunteer to beta test anything or attempt to determine what the typical consumer's tolerance for bs is.

I was considering at one point purchasing more licenses for other machines in my agency but i"m afraid they've seen the last of my money, windows has a tool that does the same thing, this software is more like a skin that makes these kind of changes a little less cumbersome. I'll just stick to windows disk manager and suggest all my 10k friends do the same, it's less work than the multiple emails and reinstalling then relicensing the software every few months.
