Being concerned about the two cell towers I can see out my living room window as well as my Smart Meter and the radiation from my wifi, I had Mieke Jacobs of Healthy House Chicago come to evaluate my home in December 2018.
Prior to our appointment, she had me fill out a lengthy questionnaire about my home and my health so she would have all the information and background to help with any issues I may be having. Also, she sent me a very long email with many links of information explaining what she will be doing and why. Such as the 4 major kinds of EMFs & what each one is about, links for more information & YouTube video links for my education & understanding.
She arrived on time and loaded with all kinds of different measuring equipment. She was very thorough starting with checking the outside of my home. Then we moved inside and she thoroughly checked every room with various meters. As we went along, she explained everything she was doing and answered my many questions. I was impressed with her vast knowledge and experience!
It did take a few weeks to get the report, but when I received it, I understood why. I received a lengthy, very detailed report on the findings of my home along with recommendations for solutions. I was impressed! But the best part is that she is always available to answer my many questions. I have emailed her many times with many questions since she was here and she always answers them within 24 hours. She even helped me to choose a meter for myself.
If you want to have your home EMF evaluated by a professional, I highly recommend Mieke Jacobs.
Claims to be the only one in ILLINOIS to have this certification AND a student from Yale. COmpleted 120 credit hours in building biology from New Mexico. (As well as an "advanced" course)
I called her and made the appointment. She arrived very late. She appeared to be using meters and gathering information. I paid her $200 in CASH and a check for $175.
That was in November, 2017. Since then I have contacted her three times about my EMF report on my home and get excuses and she is experiencing problems with no computer, parents, a death in family and on and on.
I would NOT suggest to ANYONE that they hire this person at all. I feel she owes me a REFUND or at least a handwritten report - since she has NO computer to use, cannot go to library because of elderly parents, and to use her IPHONE means too many RFs! Oy vey
Move along. There are other more credible companies/individualts to hire.
