I hired Michael J Papp aka Michael Papp, Mike Papp, Homeworks, to renovate a house I purchased in Bethlehem, PA. He is believed to live in Orefield, PA and work in Allentown / Bethlehem. He came off very knowledgable about contracting and someone you could trust. I was completely fooled. After about 8 weeks, I finally realized I was ripped off, defrauded, and victimized by Michael J Papp.
Michael J Papp was very good at starting the work, but when it came do it, he didn't know what he was doing. Accordingly, he would start a project and never finish. For example, he started electric work, never finished it. He would tell you made up excuses why no progress was done at the house for a week, which was all part of his ploy to feed of your desparation.
Michael J Papp is a criminal fraudster. He intended to deraud me from day 1. But he was smart about it. The work he would perform was just so he could say look at the progress, pay me more, the whole time fully knowing he wasn't going to finish the project.
Michael J Papp is nothing but a thief. He is not a contractor. Do not hire him or give him a dime. He is a liar and do not believe anything he says. He will only screw you out of thousands of dollars, not perform any of the work he says he will do.
If you see Michael J Papp, call the police immediately. He is a criminal who cannot be trusted and should be imprisoned for a long time.
I can't believe what I just read... I'm currently going through the same thing. The emotional stress he has cause My Wife and I is sickening. Mike Papp is the worse contractor I have ever hired. It has taking him 4 weeks to complete a floor and ceiling. Mike has every excuse not to show up. He is careless and disrespectful. He has dented my brand new refrigerator , broke a water line, got spackle on my carpets. He goes outside to smoke and throws his butts on the ground in front of my house. The tile he has put down are loose and the grout is crumbling. He also asked me for a partial payment in the middle of the job. Mike comes to my house around 9am and leaves by 1pm and then you dont't see him again for days. DON'T HIRE MIKE PAPP.
He and his consistently scam people any way they're able to. They talk about importing vehicles legally (which are collectable and unavailable for import in the USA) and take full deposits of $70,000, and obviously cannot import the trucks. They disappear and rename their many businesses so they cant be found.
