BEWARE OF TAURAI USHEWOKUNZE, and his company Mhumbi Publishing Limited

Name: Taurai Ushewokunze

Country: United Kingdom

Owner of Mhumbi Publishing Limited

Warning to all freelancers and artists out there who may have in contact with this person named Taurai Ushewokunze. This guy hires people and artists to work for him in his project “Across the Realm” and “Training Grounds” manga, demands a lot to finish task within a milestone and doesn’t pay those he hires. He demands a lot of work from his personal assistant, demands tasks that is no longer part of the PA’s task and does not pay.

When he gets in contact with an artist, he demands a 20 page issue of his project "Across The Realm" to be done in a week, and keeps on giving the artist more work along the way. He will also make the artist work with another artist that is a part of their company, and he will also delay the artist's work giving s/he many reasons. Taurai will not send a contract (even if the artist asks for it from the beginning) until the artist completes the work, saying that "it may distract the artist from finishing the work". Then when he does send a contract, it will say that the penalty of delayed delivery will give the company the right to pay for the whole work for US$1. He will try to convince the artist that they have a multi-million deal with this "Across The Realm" project, and he is doing the artist a favor by giving him/her the chance to work on the series, regardless of the amount he decides to pay. However, if the artist signs a contract, the company will keep all the work and tells her/him that s/he cannot use the work for her/his resume.

I AM WARNING ALL ARTISTS AND FREELANCERS OUT THERE TO NOT WORK FOR THIS PERSON.

IF YOU DECIDED TO WORK WITH HIM, DO NOT START WORKING UNTIL YOU GET A CONTRACT WRITTEN AND SIGNED.

DO NOT GIVE ANY OF YOUR WORK UNTIL YOU GET PAID.
