OTR or Regional doesnt matter. this is just one trip from their yard in NJ to Youngstownand back. paid mileage was only 512 miles. now we allknow that it's 311 times 2 or 622 just bach and forth accross Pa, add to that the estimated 150 for the NJ and Ohio and you get over 750 miles. so when they only pay you for 512 you loose about 50% of tour mileage. and that is typical.
they also make you sit and wait 8 plus hours pick on most trips. same example I waited about 10 hrs for a guy to come from somewhere in central Mo to switgh loads his was going to NJ. they told me that hwewas an hour away. again this is typical of what to expect with this company. most of expect our pat to be 10 to 15% less than the actual mileage which is fairly common but 50% is an exceptioal RIPP-OFF even for a trucking company.
