Metro Mattress-East Greenbush Reviews

I purchased a $800.00 mattress from metro mattress and the mattress became defective. I opened up a warranty claim on NOV 2015, and received a email 2 December from the warranty dept. requesting pictures of the bed. I instantly replied back and requested a inspector come out to take the pictures to ensure it was done right. Metro mattress, acknowledge my request and informed me someone would come out to my residence. 10 DEC 2015, I emailed them and informed them that no one had contacted me yet in reference to this. 14 DEC 2015, no one has still contacted me yet. 15 DEC 2015, they inform me they are having trouble getting someone on base to take pictures and to call them if I have a speedier solution. 24 Jan 2016, I had to take pics my self because no one ever contacted me. 27 Jan 2016, I check the status of my claim and am told they will have an answer soon. 4 FEB 2016, I send another email requesting a update, then the store calls to me my claim has been approved. I am told I have a $800.00 credit but cannot buy anything on sale, and told to get my original mattress back or downgrade to a firmer ST Augustine brand. I contact Mark Bell on 8 FEB 2016 to inform him of the situation, and that I am moving to Hawaii soon so I cannot afford to have another defective mattress. My wife has a service related back injury and a bad mattress serves her no good. Mark, talks over me throughout the conversation and tells me they do not refunds what so ever. I inform him that I am active duty and rather just get my refund and purchase a mattress when I get to Hawaii. He again, tells me that is not possible and all he can do it give me the same brand again. I ask for his boss, who happens to be the CEO, and he tells me all that will happen is the CEO will hand him the complaint. On top of this, the mattress protector I spent $150. 00 on failed me as well. Yes, metro mattress did pay to get it cleaned but the point is both of their products failed me. How do you expect me to trust your products again? My spouse and myself are veterans and just want to have a quality mattress to lay on so her back is not further irritated. Stay far away from this company, especially if you're military. That's the first question they ask when you walk into the store.

Few months before my purchases I saw tons of commercials for discount free pillows, delivery, protective cover so I decided to go there. I had serta matress so I done my research and going to get a serta matress expected to spend $1100 at max total. The sale person and the other person was nice I must give them that Although.

I bought the serta vantage firm I series, they charge me $13000 and I find out it is being sold $1070 at manufacturer's website. Add required protective cover for warranty, and frame I ended up with a $1609 for a queen size mattress. With the lack of customer service and lack of caring for what customer want or even if customer have a price range they fail to note I am only 5.5" tall and don't need to cliimb to bed like a child. So I immediately call with the problem and the manager was now not as desired to be nice and simply offer to change the box spring for a shorter one but it will cost me an additional $43.

It has been 7 months, I wake up with more neck pain than ever first couple of months, it seems like I have to keep searching for a super thin pillow which hopefully will help The neck pain I get with tummy sleep but back sleep is Ok ( I am a tummy sleeper) I have this pain issue, although a queen the bed feels more like a full and not enough space, and fear of stain through the protective cover. I can't help thinking my second choice would had been better maybe but With all these issues going to them will only cost me more. I mean $ 1655 for a mattress that feels like a full size.

Metro Matress over charge $300 straight up the back than lie and misguide the reward program because they know families buy many mattresses. I donot recomand that store

They could not care less that I came with my research note and the mattress I wanted; they did their process of making me find a mattress I like. I also find a second mattress I like but they discourage buying it. They push for this mattress and outright lie about the serta VIP reward, stating I will earn reward and can use it with any purchase no matter the cost. They also did not deliver the code to register for the reward program And when I asked lady said look online ; I looked to find the reward is for purchases of $1000 or more.
