We contracted with Metro Fences back in late June. We paid a 50% deposit for our fence which was $4,300. We had our installation set up for June 29 and no one showed up and no one called to cancel or reschedule. We had to call them to see what was going on. They gave us an excuse that it was going to rain. It never did rain that day. They rescheduled for July 6 and once again, they didn't show up and didn't call to let us know. We called them and they said that all of their workers had quit. We requested a refund and Adam said we will receive our refund on July 13. July 13 came along and we never received a refund.

We called them and they did not answer. We have been calling them almost every single day and they always forward me to voicemail. You can't leave a voicemail because their voicemail box is full. The owner has not even attmpted to call us back to fix this issue. I have read multiple reviews lately and there are a lot of people who are having the same problem as me. Do not contract with Metro Fences. They didn't even apply for the permit to put the fence up. I belive that they had no intentions to install our fence and ran off with my money. I have contacted News Channel 8 in hopes they will get the word out before anyone else falls for this scam. Stay away.

I called METRO FENCES got an estimate for fencing. hired them to do the job paid $1300 deposit they were supposed to show up on 20th of July 2018 to install my fence they never showed up never called I called to find out where they were was told they weren’t coming to do my fence that day. They said they would call me with a new install date. I’ve called every day or text every day. I have had 2 texts back that Adam the owner would call me. So far I have had no text or call from the owner. I’ve asked for my deposit back I’ve gotten no reply I have called them and text them continuously I’ve got no reply! I’ve Have no fence and I have no money back!!bad company bad business!!!Very mad just wanted a fence for my dogs And I trusted the wrong people the wrong company.

Never use Metro Fence. I gave Dallas (estimator) a $1400 cash deposit on 7/11/18. The install date was to be 7/19/18. I called 5 times and emailed 2 times on 7/19/18 when they didn't show up. My pool final inspection was scheduled the following day! I call everyday. My calls initially went to voicemail and now the mailbox is full. I've left voicemails for Adam Cronenwett (owner) - no response. Prior to signing the contract, I was called every day by the office staff and the same day Dallas was at my house collecting the deposit. Now they've vanished, I suspect they are out of business. Next step is small claims court. I've thought about contacting the television stations as well.

Adam Cronenwett who owns Metro Fence provided a quote to install a fence at a residence. His receptionist said Adam was having issues with the bank and would need a check. A check was provided. Adam cashed our check at Amscott and never returned to do any of the work promised.

Atrocious experience with Metro Fences! It's a wonder these jokers are still in business! The only reason they are getting 1 star is because Yelp hasn't invented giving out no stars. After our experience with them, they certainly do not even deserve 1 star!

The planning process itself was extensive, although our requests were pretty basic and nothing over the top. There was a lot of back and forth via email and getting them to understand exactly what I wanted, felt like next to impossible (2 fences with a dog run and 3 gates...pretty simple). When I received the final quote we were expecting the final number to go down since less fence was used. In fact, the quote went up. We were told that they "forgot" to add in an extra gate (which was requested from the initial quote). It was clearly someone trying to cover up for an original mistake of not getting the quote right the first time. I even offered to meet them halfway on the cost, as I didn't feel it was right that we had to pay for someone else's mistake. Nope, pass the buck on to the customer, they will never know.

Speaking of passing the buck, they'll give you a break if you pay with cash. However, they refuse to give you a receipt when you pay the cash. Surely they are doing legitimate business :-/

Then comes trying to figure out install day. They will leave you in the woods for multiple weeks until they figure out a convenient time for them to come out and do the install.

No sooner did the installers come and go, did we find 5 massive errors on the project. Errors that the naked eye and no fence expert can spot. Over a 1.5" gap at the gate of a "privacy" fence, an entire post that is missing, a post that was made out of (2) 2"x2" instead of (1) 4"x4," old wood, split boards, among many others. They spit out an inferior product!

We reported this the same day to Kayle, who then reported it to the owner, Adam. Of which we never received a response from, despite the many emails that he was copied on. When we emailed Adam directly asking for a scheduled date to have the repairs done, we received a snarky email stating that they had already been to our house 3 times to make the repairs and that we owed them $300, neither of which was true. So unprofessional!

It has been SIX weeks since the install and NOTHING has been done about it. No apology, no schedule to repair, no response other than a ridiculous excuse that they do their service calls once a month. If my math serves me correctly, their one a month service call would have fallen at least once, if not twice, within this 6 week period. Their "call center" is bogus. It's an answering service that pawns you off and tells you that they'll take care of you, but yet here we are 6 weeks later in the same situation with no resolution.

Take our advice, don't waste your time! They say they will beat anyones quote; and they very might meet their word, but the leg work and the garbage that they pump out is surpasses any level of disappointment. Their practices are absolutely inexcusable. The product they put out is substandard. Don't waste your time or money on Metro Fences!
