In December of 2006, I hired Mike Stout's Mesquite Metals to install custom made security bars & security doors on my new house. I had to return to FL, to sell my other house, & I left trusting Mike Stout to provide & install a quality product. I paid $5,000 for custom bar's, mounted INSIDE the window well, & made to match the grid pattern on each window. All of my bars, & 3 doors, were painted gloss white. Several years later, when I returned, I had rust coming thru the paint on the indoor window bars...and security doors covered in rust!!! How could I have rust on the INSIDE bars when they are not even exposed to the weather??? I've just spent $500 having the doors sandblasted down to bare metal, primed, & painted gloss white. The person who did the job said that the doors were never even primed, just painted on bare metal. There were also screws missing from the door frames which allowed water to enter the frame. In other words, I very poor quality product! Obviously, Mike Stout cannot be trusted to ensure a proper job. I DO NOT recommend hiring him or his company!
