I have for almost 1 year now been receiving harassing phone calls at my landline late in the evening. (Phone # that I do NOT give out. I ONLY give out my cell #.) I finally called them last year asking who they were & from where I was owing money to. I asked for them to mail me documents. Was told it was already in court & that they could NOT release me that information. Stated to me that it was from a "LOAN" for $500.00 that now increased to $645.00 that I supposedly got back over 8 years ago in the State of Massachusetts where at one point I did reside in. Told me what was originally loaned & if I paid a certain amount that same moment it would be done & over with.
Recently phone calls again to my landline. I called & was told that now it was is arbitration status? How I ask? I never went to court for this. I told them that I needed documentation on this “LOAN” & until I got those documents I was NOT going to pay them a penny.
So, they emailed me the most amateur letter in the planet. Basically saying that I have 30 days to submit a written request for these documents to be sent to me. I have faxed my written request & shall await the documents.
