Mr Mayek is a well known legal practitioner in Melbourne, and has been in the media of late as an advocate for the Sudanese Community in Melbourne, despite the fact that Sudanese Youth are running riot in Melbourne.
I have a relative who lives in Melbourne who for obvious reasons shall remain unnamed due to fear of reprisals.
He was brutally bashed by a mob of Sudanese Youth as I have stated, and was left with a wired up jaw and severe concussion.
Mr Mayek, who is well known for his advocacy towards the youth of his community (Sudanese) represented these vicious thugs in court.
He is well known for his glossing over of the gang violence problem in Melbourne perpetuated by Sudanese Youth, and has been quoted in the media as saying that in regards to recent attacks on innocent people that " the young people in questionshould focus on their education and get good jobs"
This in my opinion shows a callous disregard for the lives of innocent members of the public, and Mayek is the first to play the race card when anyone questions the validity of his work, and he shows a contemptuous regard for the wellbeing of the citizens of the country that offered him safety and refuge when he arrived as a refugee.
this in my opinion needs to be noted in the public interest, as the ethics he demonstrates are far from impartial, and he is a blight on the legal profession in general.
