Marin's Remodeling & painting Reviews

  • May 9, 2020

On march 6th, 2020 Marin Aureliano from Marin's Remodeling and Painting in San Anotnio, TX, the owner, was advanced $2,400 total to start plumbing and electrical work on a duplex. $1,200 was to pull permits for plumbing and buy material and $1,200 was to pull electrical permit and buy material for that.

He pulled plumbing permits and bought some plumbing materials and began work, but stopped showing up after a couple of days of work. We then followed up with calls and texts and he said that he had a family member die and asked to be given some time. We waiting for about a month and we simply couldn't wait anymore and had to find someone else to finish the job. He never pulled electrical permits or bought any electrical material.

To this day, two months later, he has not answered or replied to texts or calls. or returned the $1,200 for electrical work he never did.

Some plumbing material he left there, we later learned from neighbors, that he had crawled underneath the foundation and took most of what was left. I hope this individual learns his lesson and stops stealing from people.
