I fired Matt Mullinax after he 'represented' me for over a year and was (IMO) completely incompetent.
I was scheduled for a deposition that he didn’t bother to prepare for or to prepare me for and then gave me an excuse that he “had been in mediation all afternoon”. The deposition was originally scheduled in October 2021, months prior, so I’m not sure what being busy the afternoon before would have anything to do with my deposition?
The day before, his partner, Gabe, was telling me to throw a large amount of documents together to use at the deposition- that would never have been seen by an attorney! I found that to be completely unprofessional and I fired Matt Mullinax immediately after that.
