Main Clinic Supply Reviews

I purchased my Inogen One portable oxygen concentrator from Main Clinic Supply, which included a multi year warranty. Several months ago the unit failed and I was told that they would send me a loaner and I should send my unit back for service, which would take a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, the loaner unit failed. It would stop dispensing oxygen properly and as I figured out, would return to normal operation after I removed the battery and then replaced the battery, more or less rebooting the unit.

I complained about this and they sent me another loaner. This one was pretty much dead on arrival. It would dispense oxygen for an hour or two and then simply shut down.

I returned that unit and have been limping along with the original loaner hoping that it stays running. I use this unit while I am out of the house or flying. If the unit fails under the wrong circumstances, it would be a big problem for me as I require oxygen to stay alive.

Today I called Main Street Supply and inquired as to when I would get my original unit back. Again, I was originally told that it would be a couple of weeks and it has now been months. I was told that my original unit could not repaired and that the "loaner" which I'm told is a used refurbished unit, is my replacement. I suppose the other loaner that they sent me which was DOA was refurbished too. Now they are sending me yet another unit that is used and has been "refurbished".

This is not acceptable to me. I have a reasonable expectation that if I send my broken item in under warranty, it will be repaired or replaced with a new unit. Not some other customer's problem child.

Imagine having a major kitchen appliance fail under warranty and the service manager tells you it can't be repaired. No worrys, he's got somebody else's refrigerator on the truck that's in great shape!

Nonsense.

I have referred several customers to Main Clinic Supply. I've been happy, until now.

I bought one of these high priced machines with the understanding from the salesman Leo Castro that I do not use it a lot and was concerned about replacing the oxygen collums if the became full past the regular 1 year.

Leo Castro told me not to worry about that that they would replace the first set no matter how long it was. Well 8-6-2016 the machine needs new ones so I contacted them (Main Clinic Supply).

The man who answered my email was Mark Luther.

He basically said that they will not replace them or honor there deal that Leo Castro made as the machine is over 1 year old. Guess they lied to me and probally a lot of others to sell one of these very expensive machines.

Im sure Leo Castro was a made up name or a employee that no longer works for them.

You would still think that a company would honor what there employee promised.

I would like to warn everyone who need a oxygen machine to be sure and stay clear of Main Clinic Suppy as they will do anything to make a sale. I count on my oxygen machine now more than ever and would really like to do business with a company I could count on.
