Prior to ordering from MailBanger.com, I checked this site for complaints, due to most email database providers selling old data. I did not see any complaints, so I ordered a package of 11 million USA business email database for $249.
It was delivered on 3/19/2017, one day after ordering, so I was impressed with the quick delivery.
However, after getting the data, the 11 million businesses in USA was only 8.5 million. It had all states in separate excel files, but was missing Indiana and Ohio, redenring the data virtually useless. Their website advertise the USA Business Database for $249, and show contact person as a field included. It is not.
In their FAQ section, they claim all their emails are opt-in and verfied. They are neither.
Data, to be verified means it must be 98% deliverable, but if 90% plus, was deliverable, I would accept that, as we would only email those businesses, when a customer of ours requestes a quote from them.
We do not mass email our service providers. The purchased lists were to add to our potential service providers that match categories we work with.
Also, I uploade the data to check deliverability on Neverbounce.com and found the email addresses to be 53% undeliverable. This makes the data useless, since I would have to pay im excess of $3500 to $8,000 to clean the data to make it useful.
I did email MailBanger to ask for the missing data, but after 2 days, they have not yet replied.
I do plan to charge back my credit card to them and delete the data from my server, as the data is useless.
I am reporting this to avoid having others buy this set of worthless data from these guys.
They have no contact information on theor website, other than one email address.
I'm always leary about buying data packages online, can be pretty hit or miss, I purchased both the 2016 and then the 2017 Homeowner lists and the data came out to be excellent in both of those cases. It was much cheaper than buying individual leads, saved me several thousand.
