Luminis Advanced Skin Care Reviews

  • May 16, 2017

I urge anyone NOT to have any dealings with Sunay Face Serum, Luminis Anti-Aging, YouthVita, Heavenly Touch, Villa Life Marketing, and anything having to do with offering a "trial" face serum and/or eye cream. They ask for only shipping and handling. They state there is a 14 day provision when the order is placed, BUT THERE ISN'T. It supposedly indicates you have 14 days to cancel from the order date; otherwise, you will basically be locked in and will be charged close to $100 each for the products monthly (totaling close to $200).

I know for a fact there was no "small print" on the order form because I'm very conscientious of ordering product this way (please refer to previous complaint review as I had almost the exact same situation).

When the product was received, I felt I could maybe try it sometime in the future. If I liked it, I thought I could order again depending on the cost, since they didn't acknowledge what the product cost would be. When the product was received, there was absolutely no paperwork included.

The next month, I saw the full charges on my account. I sent an email to each company to Cancel Immediately. Unfortunately, it fell on deaf ears because each month thereafter, I received product and was charged for this unwanted product and unauthorized charges.

Each month, I emailed cancellation requests and sent the product back unopened with a letter. They continued to send product and charge my account. I was to Call them but, being hearing impaired and on anxiety meds, I felt the emails should be more than sufficient. When they weren't, I contacted my credit card company to file fraudulant charges as I've been getting charged for returned product after cancelling.

Unfortunately, one of the companys came back with a copy of the 14 day notice that WAS NOT PROVIDED to me when I ordered online and state that I will not be refunded. I called the company and advised "Fine, charge me for the first month since I kept the product, but reimburse the charges for the second and thereafter since I returned the product unopened. They said "No, I lost the case because I went through the credit card company." I said "I sent multiple cancellation notices and returned all product after the first month. They could feel free to re-send it to some other idiot that fell for their scam." They said it cost them $20 to provide info to credit card company (boo h*o, it cost ME $98.71/mo) and since I didn't use an authorized return method (what??), I cannot be reimbursed. Needless to say, I was transferred to a supervisor and spent the rest of the call trying to make my point, but we both wound up pretty-much raising our voices at each other. I was shaking so badly, I had to hang up.

Now I'm trying to compose myself as I have to call the second company who just happened to charge my account under a different name altogether, but I'm sure I'm going to have to eat the over $600 I've lost so far.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE READ THIS SO YOU WON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS ORDEAL!

I orderd a free trial of this product with shipping paid only and charged to my credit card in September 2016.

After one month, I was charged and receiving monthly bottles of the skin care Luminis in a purple bottle. I called in October or November 2016 and spoke with a customer representative and informed them to credit my card and stop all shipments.

I kept getting shipments and charged to my credit card. I was very sick with Lyme disease in treatment and was not able to call them again until 2/28/2017. I contacted my credit card company with Regions bank and told them what had happened and cancelled my credit card with the bank. My claim number is 20170227112996. I attempted to call their company at 1 888 616 2655. The packing slips sent with the product does not list the correct phone number for calls. I had to get the correct number from my credit card company.

There is a email address on the packing slip. The address is [email protected]. I sent them an email demanding all money owed back to me when the product arrives to their company. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. The phone listed on the packing slip is 1 877 497 1088. This is not a correct phone number. When you call that number, the phone cuts off. The address of this company is listed as a return address on the box, Luminis, 13210 Harbor Blvd, Suite 395. Garden Grove, California 92843-1737. It is mailed as first class mail usps.

Today 2/28/2017. When receiving yet another bottle, my bp shot up to 176/96. I am under profound stress and my bp is labile at this point. The stress of dealing with this amongst my other stress is adding to my health problems. So I feel if I have a major stroke, this company will be liable not only for stealing money but also for my health problem. I was hospitilized this month with new onset of hypertension and I am still having problems under a doctor's care.

I bought the luminis skincare product, and they stealthily attached another product to my order. I called them within an hour, asked to have this cancelled and threatened to register transaction as a fraudulent one with my bank. Theyclaimed to have successfully cancelled my order so imagine my surprise when a month later I noticed a recurring charge on my bank account.

When I called them, they claimed to not see anything on their systems regarding my transaction and rudely ended the call when I requested a supervisor.

I called another number listed on their website and was kept on hold for over 30 minutes.

I am contacting my bank to register this as a fraudulent charge with them.

I received an unauthorized shipment of 2 products - Luminis Advanced Skin Care anti aging facial treatment, and Belle Epoque Youth Activating Eye Cream with charges of 99.01 and 98.71 dollars on 12/08/16 appearing on my bank statement. They were packaged in the same box.

I had purchased a sample of the Luminis for a modest shipping amount but never found within the advertisement on the internet of a committment to purchase anything else. My experience is like that of other victims of this scam who filed the same complaint. I will be advising my bank that they not honor any further charges from this "company" and pray for a complete refund from the perpetrator of this rip-off!

I would like something done about Luminis Advanced Skincare as I feel they have found an easy way to rip off consumers. I ordered the Luminis Skin Care (free trial size) except for 4.64 shipping and handling - no where did I see on the main page that if you did not cancel within 14 days your account will be charged 98.71. Well, I got charged 98.71, plus 1.99 for God only knows what. When I discovered what happened I had to run to my credit union to add more money so I would not get overdrawn and charged more money. I called to cancel my account and begged....yes, begged that the money be put back into my account as I did not intentionally miss the 14 day trial statement - I just did not know about it. They only refunded me 49.35; then the very next day, they took out 99.01 for another skin soft product I ordered under the same pretense. But instead of asking me the 1st time I called in an outrage about the 98.71 if I wanted to cancel the other account, they took out the 99.01 (now I have to run to the credit union AGAIN to add more money so I don't get any overdrafts on my account. This is outragious in my view and if there is a class action suit against these crooks please add my name and email address and let me know what I have to do. I'm so upset - I'm a widow and on a fixed income and would never order anything that costs a hundred bucks a month. Several times I asked to talk with a supervisor but to no avail. They did say they would refund me another 49.35 on the 99.01 that was taken, but I believe it should all be refunded. Please help in any way you can.

In October, 2016, while searching on Facebook, a story popped up about Susan Sarandon and how after whe was dumped by Tim Robbins because she looked old, decided to develope her own skin beauty cream designed to take years off her looks by eliminating wrinkles. For a free, no-strings-attached sample, only pay S&H, $4.95 the offer was to try this product - Luminis. After ordering this product, another product popped up - seeming like it was part of the package, to order, same deal only to pay S&H charge, this time $6.95. I wasn't looking for any skin product, although I am closing on 70 years old, I look like I'm in my 40's. I have never used any skin products. However, it wasn't much money and I like Susan Sarandon. I checked out the site and saw no small print or any rules or cancellation instructions.

Next thing I know, end of November, I receive another package - same stuff. I fheck my checking account to find that not only did they charge my account for the October supply after a period of time for $98.71 and $99.01 respectively for each month - a total of $395.44!! I never gave these products a thought after receiving them, and I was about to throw them out as they were both completely unimpressive. When I called Luminis for a refund, after much argument and asking for the manager, I finally got them to agree to a full refund from the November charge - unaware of the October charge. Calling BelleEpoque was not pleasant - not so kind - they (Brayden) kept putting me on hold as a form of punishment because I couldn't come up with a cancellation number, and finally the "owner" named Froy continued to place me on hold "until you come up with a cancellation number" until he decided that I wasn't deserving of a refund and simply hung up on me - total time on that phone call was over half an hour.
