I have worked for Luis Sandoval and his spec home projects and wanted to convey to others to be warned about dealing with this character. In particular, he will not pay you if you are one of his subs if he can at all avoid it. I served on a few of his jobs and beyond the fact that he skirts normal safety standards and I have caught him manipulating plans and decieving building inspectors, he will outright avoid paying past due balance to his subcontractors. In short, I am amazed that Luis Sandoval has been so skilled at manipulating the City as well as his subs. If you attempt to be more aggresive in collecting then he will threaten to trump up lawsuits and sue you instead claiming deficient work. This guy is extremely sleazy and I would encourage any subs or even homebuyers or clients to be extremely careful with him and his company - you are on very dangerous ground as he has a well thought out system for defrauding people.
